Iâve passed this restaurant by numerous times always wondering what was inside and today I decided to find out. The staff was awesome although it took me some effort to navigate through their thick accents but it was completely manageable. The food is authentic and delicious the beer was served in a frosted mug which made it even more refreshing. I had an amazing meal and look forward to returning when ever I am in town visiting family.
Giving this place 4 Stars "not for the food" but for the Service that was very good, with friendly staff. There is plenty of seating inside and as one reviewer stated it looked more like a cafeteria, but we came here because friends come here all the time and we all went out for dinner. One Note: the Ladies Room was very clean and that is a plus for me. Now for the food: the Chips were warm and Salsa was delicious, so was the Guamole made fresh at the table. We also ordered a pitcher of Red Sangria that was delicious. However, my Steak Fajitas de Bistec (green pepper, onions, and mushrooms) was just OK, the quality of meat was cheap and very thin. I thought it was strange that they served the Soft Tocos (4) in Aluminum Foil - what happened to the small Toco dish with the lid holding the Soft Tocos to keep them warm, that would have been more professional looking especially for a Mexican Restaurant. The beans that came with my Fajitas tasted good but very unappetizing looking. All and all, we enjoyed the night out with our friends, but next time we will be picking the restaurant.

My wife and I dined here for the firs time and were really impressed. We did not have a reservation but were seated upon arrival. The service was terrific - efficient and non-intrusive. The menu is fairly extensive and we wound up here mainly in a quest to find a good plate of fish tacos. My wife loved them and I had chicken enchiladas mole, which was also very good. Of the Mexican restaurants in this corner of Westchester, Maya Riviera is as good as any of them; perhaps better. The two of us had drinks and dinner and the entire meal came to less than $50 (not including tip). Will we go back. Yes. Would we recommend it to you? Yes.

Needed to get out on a rainy afternoon and decided on a later lunch. We havenât been to Guadalajra in a couple of years and weâre glad we went back. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Margaritaâs were delicious. Table side guacamole....fresh and amazing! Our main entrees were delicious! The manager came around to every table making sure the food and service were to our liking. They even treated us to another margarita! Canât wait to return!

This place is a true gem. While they have the full assortment of the usual Mexican food, their specials are fabulous! I had the duck mole poblano. There are not enough adjectives to describe how delicious this was. We will return. The only downside is there is no bar area to speak of, so if you have to wait youâre just standing around.....but make the wait....itâs worth it
