I don't understand why, but they've never been crowded when I've gone there. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is comfortable. I've only been there for lunch, so I'm guessing more folks go there at night.

Google search ID'd this place as the closest to where we were when we got hungry. We had no expectations and were totally surprised by the crowd. The line moved quickly but we weren't rushed once we were seated. The food is very good. It's likely this will be our go-to for Mexican food.

The food was good and plenty of it but the reason we were there was for the margaritas. They were strong good and cheap. Enjoyed the food as usual

We are a family run restaurant offering authentic dishes from across the lands of Mexico. We offer daily Lunch and Happy Hour specials. Come in for a great meal or a fantastic drink at our bar.
We went to Joseâs when they first opened and it was great! However, as time has gone by....the service and food have declined! We were there for lunch this time. They brought a half basket of chips and a half bowl of salsa for four people. We asked for more salsa and after some time, the waiter brought a bowl with about an eighth of a cup of salsa in it! When we asked why it was so little, he said that was the refill portion. I have never heard of that! Then we asked for more chips and got about a handful! We divided them up and got four chips per person! The food we got was good tasting, although it was not hot. It was barely warm. And they charged an extra $2.00 for pico to put on tacos!! The waiter never refilled our beverages either. Their portions are smaller than most Mexican places around here and the prices are higher. So, we will be going elsewhere from now on. There are lots of choices for the same quality food in St. Charles!

I was recommended by a co-worker to try this restaurant when visiting our Software company in Lake St. Louis. He said it had great food and good beer..... He wasn't wrong! I stopped in my first afternoon to get a late lunch and then dinner the next night before heading into the Carrie Underwood concert in St. Louis. Be careful of the HOT sauce... I like things hot but I'm so glad I got it on the side vs. on the dish. Love this place!

Tried to go to dinner Valentines' day at 5 pm and couldn't find a place to park so went back the next day for lunch. Lunch prices were better anyway. Had the Trio enchiladas and Chimichanga with beef. My husband was not impressed with any of the three enciladas. I enjoyed my Chimi and especially liked the fresh Guacamole.Service was just okay. They have hand pads they have to bring to the table to use a credit card which really slows down leaving because you have to wait for her to go get it. I don't know if that is something new or not. It was our 1st time. The TV was on above our head with Sesame street on and the volume up enough to be annoying. There were no kids in the restuarant so I'm not sure why. I should have said something but didn't see the waitress enough to tell her. Price was fair for the amount and the Chimi was good. Chips and salsa were the standard.
