I love the carnitas wet burritos with green sauce and chicken flautas. We have been ordering from this little spot for years, like many who work at or attend Cerritos College. The free warm chips and salsa are always fresh and tasty, so do not fill up on them before devouring whatever you decide to order.
I eat here for lunch and dinner because the El Pollo Loco the staff is very friendly and the food is consistently good. If you're coming on your lunch break be at buys the line can get very long
I'm from Norwalk. Have lived out of state for 43 years. Came back to visit and first on my list was to get some good mexican food. Lupitas was recommended for authentic mexican tacos...I was not disappointed. I could eat these darned things 3 meals a day, 7 days a week!!!

Yesterday I made my way back up to Norwalk California to visit Don Ramon's Speaker and electronics repair on Carmenita. I must give Taco Bell it's due and Exceptional customer service. Yesterday the young lady working the counter served us our Delicious tacos and when i asked her for the rest room keys, she said i will meet you at the door. She then took the time to open it for us and did the same for a small girl who wanted to to use the Bathroom as well, instead of just handing the keys across the counter. This Taco Bell has Excellent customer service and they deserve to be Honored in this post on Trip Advisor and beyond!
Went here for a quick lunch. Very nice, original mexican tacos. Everything was fresh. The cooks were very accomodating. My order was without onions. When the first set of tacos came with onions, they promptly & courteously rectified the problem. Very apologetic. Will go here again when in the area
Craving fish tacos so Señor Baja came high recommended by co-workers. First time visitor to this hole-in-the-wall place so didn't know what to expect. My conclusion: Lunchtime + Wednesday + Fish Tacos for 99 Cents = Full House! Glancing around the small room with tables filled with fish tacos, you couldn't help but notice a diverse group of customers.....firemen, families, and business folks on lunch break. During short wait, filled containers w/green and red salsa and bagged some limes to go. Place could use some spic and span but no one seemed bothered. Fish tacos were tasty but enjoyed the seasoned roasted peppers almost as much! The creamy white sauce on tacos was a bit much, but still, a nice surprise from just around the corner!
At Rancho Grande, enjoy a small, welcoming family environment where you can count on great Mexican food with a clean, casual and friendly atmosphere. For over 40 years, we have been preparing every order individually, and only when you order it. From the
We used to go to Rancho Grande once a week when we lived in CA 20+ years ago. We were big fans, obviously. The food was authentic, delicious & reasonably priced. Well, I happened to be in town for a family event last week & remembered it as I drove by so I thought I'd check it out...certainly, it couldn't be the same or as good as it was 23 years ago...could it?Well, I'm THRILLED to be able to say YES, it most certainly is! Still owned by the same family...Still the same delicious recipes...AND STILL great prices!!! Christina (owners daughter) even offered to freeze a few burritos for my flight home, very gracious. And, I understand, she apparently does this for others from out of town, I discovered!Must try the LOUIE SPECIAL!!A beautiful 1 & 1/2 pound burrito stuffed with delicious HUGE chunks of pork & beef, rice, beans...covered in delicious red sauce, melted cheese & topped with guacamole & sour cream.Just $6.95 folks!!!!! ='OThe taquitos are also a favorite of mine (although, I admit, I'm even a fan of nasty frozen ones) but they are certainly some of the best I could get outside of making my own from scratch.Small place in a strip mall area so not much ambience but REAL Homestyle Mexican (fast) Food! Can hardly wait to go back! Thanks Christina & the Rancho Grande folks for staying the course all these years!A+++

Adelitas #2 is a family restaurant with great food and excellent service. We went there on 5/10/14 and we plan to go back. The food was very good and the service outstanding. One of the girls took the trouble to play me some song of Pedro Infante after I told them that why they didn't have any of his music. She said yes, we do and went to play me a few of his songs. I really recommend this place to anybody. It's full of a family environment.

Silly me, I had no idea you could find such good Mexican food in... Norwalk. Well, you can. My wife had a chicken mole that she's still talking about weeks later. I had the seafood soup -- delicious. Our other two lunch mates enjoyed their food, too.The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is spacious -- looks like the kind of place bosses take their entire workforce to for lunch. This isn't cheap Mexican food but it's worth every penny. And there seems to be ample parking, always a concern in So Cal!
