Arrived at Bayou Vista early evening. Hotel desk clerk said Si Senor's was near-by and, '...really, really good'. Found the parking lot crowded, as was the restaurant, with a Latin majority, (excellent first impression).Immediately seated and waited-on by a very courteous and helpful staff that had no problem preparing specialty margaritas in accordance to my instructions, (...by now, I love this place). In-house made chips & salsa were very nice, with a pleasant 'back-glow of heat'. The two other sauces provided were amazing: a red sauce, that slowly lite-up your taste buds complemented with just the slightest amount of sweetness; and a green sauce, that was an explosion of fresh herbs. Obviously, a great deal of time and effort went into these accouterments.Overwhelmingly pleased with our introduction, we ordered an array of samplings from the vast menu; each arrived fresh, delicious, and flavorful. As a bonus, the final cost was much less than I had expected. My only regret is that I don't live close-by; and, I only wish that more Mexican restaurants would prepare food with the amount of pride that 'Si Senor' does.

We like to call Tampico's our favorite Mexican restaurant. I like the Chicken Fajita Salad. It is very large and delicious and does not have the evil weed Cilantro. I always ask for two packets of Ranch Dressing to go over the salad. They also have great sweet tea. Service was fast and our servers have always been friendly.

We hope you will enjoy the special Mexican cuisine we have prepared for you. From our Family to Yours with Tradition and Flavor.
Authentic Mexican food. Everything was good. I am so spoiled to my one Mexican place. I was worried I wouldn't like it. Kids were happy they have non Mexican food. Husband and I enjoyed the choices they had. And FYI. You think cause the prices are low. It won't be a lot of food. Nope. They like to pile those plates up. Happy Hour. 2 for 1 margaritas. Yep. Strawberry ones. We're OMG. Some of the best I ever had. They are not stingy at this place. You won't be disappointed

We traveled to Patterson for a funeral, so opted to stop at the "famous" Tampico for lunch. In some ways, it is like a 1970's time machine with its dated decor and lay-out. Service was somewhat slow (I think our server was ADD), but the food was great. If nothing else, I'd go back for the warm and spicy salsa that comes free with chips. I got the tamale/enchilada combo and my wife got fajitas. Both were very good.
