On Easter Sunday because most of our family was out of state we stopped at this restaurant. So glad we did. The all the servers are cheerful--smile and want you to enjoy your dining experience. The chips and salsa are top notch. We ordered a fajita to share. So much food we had lots to take home for another meal. Reasonable prices and our pop glasses were never empty. They make sure you are taken care of. We loved it. Thanks!!!
Rancho grande is, and will remain, my go to Mexican food restaurant in Monticello! I couldnt reach tripadvisor to change their listing for them as closed, not sure why that ever happened...except the one day they closed for a wedding. (It was a family member, and it is a family business!) I assure you, its open, and as good as usual. I still get my favorite, pollo karely. Even the deserts are good, and I hardly ever order desert... good food and good service this time. Quite fast actually! Enjoy! I know I did.

I have been here a few times and it's kind of 50-50 on the service. Whenever I go here I always sub beans for meat because I am a vegetarian. Sometimes when I go everything works out perfectly there's no meat, everything is in the bag and the food is warm. But more times than not they either leave out one of the items, they forget to add the sauce, or there is meat on the food. When this would happen I would call back in there are always more than happy to make it right by having food remade, offering to make me something new or seeing what they could do to make it right. The last time I went here he told me that it was going to cost extra for each taco to remove the meet. Since then I have not been back but I'm sure I will try again someday.

The food at Taco Johns is much better than Taco Bell. I tried the Quesadilla Taco and it was excellent.
