When I visited, it was nice and clean. The service was friendly and fast. When my friend won free cinnamon twists playing the coin game, they were happy to provide them. I cinnamon twists were a little stale but hey they were free.

Stopped in late, ostensibly for drinks, but also got some food!! Our server, Stefanie, was just the best!! Great personality, extremely attentive, and lots of fun to dialog with as we ate and drank!!! There salsa was hot!!!! but good!!!! and she even brought us out a sweet salsa too!!!! Love this place!!!!!! My partner ordered the chicken fajita and she loved it!!! This place was so much fun and I know it's been in Mansfield for awhile but please give this place a try!!!!!! We also were introduced to Dave, the cook, and that also was cool!!!!

We finally got to try this place and are glad we did. It reminds my husband of the mexican food he grew up on in California. This is the only place he has found that makes Lengua tacos. He said they were very good. He also had the chorizo and egg tacos which also reminded him of home. I had the carnitas panchas anf they were very good. We also had the horchata, it was the closest that we have tasted to the horchata we get in California. We will definitely go back.

First visit. Always alot of cars so decided to finally give it a try. Got there just before a big rush so only had a 5 minute wait. People after us were told 15 to 20 minutes and soon the lobby was full of customers and no one left because of the wait. My wife and I were completely satisfied with the service, the food and the price. Highly recommend if you are in the area to give this place a try.

I say authentic because this is what we're led to believe is authentic mexican food when in reality it is not. El Charrito is your typical run-of-the-mill americanized mexican restaurant, with a gaudy interior, large portions, and average food. But really you just go here to drink. Margaritas are palpable and inexpensive, and the food is reasonably priced. Chances are if you have a mexican restaurant in your town, it will likely taste exactly the same as this restaurant, or any other mexican restaurant.

Iâve been back to this place dozens of times over the years and itâs easy to see why they have a strong, loyal following. Itâs generous portions of great Mexican food served in a friendly, clean environment. I love their fajitas cooked in the spicy Diavola sauce. Their new bar area is also a crowd pleaser.
