Authentic Mexican and Latin American food, prepared with traditional all natural, hormone-free ingredients. Our dishes are zealously prepared using methods and techniques passed on to us by Abuelita's ancestry. While similar dishes can be found in just ab
Today was our first visit to the restaurant and it was very good, we had the Chorizo and cheese dip for an appetizer. For Our meal my wife ordered the signature platter with steak, chicken, shrimp, and three vegetables. I ordered the steak fajitas with beans and rice. The food was great I definitely will be going back to get the Chicken tamales.

Went by on a Wednesday night and was overwhelmed with our server. I forgot her name but she was excellent. We were seated in the bar area at one of the high top tables. She was very informative with all of the menu items and drink specials. My glass was never empty. She was delightful to say the least. The food was good and came out promptly.

Our rating of 5 is awarded to this Macon chain Mexican restaurant for significantly exceeding our expectations! On a beautiful warm evening we dined on the patio with excellent service provided by Juan, selecting 4 different margarita sizes with varying tequila types/blends/rimmed salt complemented by salsa picante with just the right amount of "stinging zest"! The chips can be slighty improved upon (yes reviews are subjective)!Personally I cannot rave enough about my Carne Asada (grilled green onions, substantial perfectly grilled marinated beef ++). The other dishes like quesadilla fajitas and combination plates with delicious (unusual) beans/rice had everyone praising the quality of their meals. We chose this restaurand as a fallback after our first choice was a 45 minute wait and our second was closed. Sometimes the unexpected does translate to a surprisingly terrific experience!Enjoy!

I decided to give this spot a try, since it's within walking distance from my work. I have to say, that I'm pretty pleased! Coming from South Florida, there's legit Cuban food everywhere. Moving to Macon, this is the first place I've seen that has Cuban food. Honestly, definitely not the best Cuban food I've tasted. I gave a pretty good review, because of the overall dining experience. The mother and son combo that was working that day was awesome. The son was attentive and friendly! He did an awesome job with service. The food was tasty and flavorful.

Mexican restaurant located on the Mercer University campus. Serving downtown and midtown with delivery available to downtown businesses, hotels and hospitals. 32 Draft beer selections with a full bar and large sidewalk seating area.
This is a college hang out. Food is not any better than Taco Bell, maybe not as good. If you want loud crowd, metal chairs, limited menu, imitation Mexican....then this is your place. Thanks for taking the time to review. We are a college hangout! It is loud! It is not for everyone! The chairs are metal!! I am not sure about the limited menu as it is eight pages long. I am not sure what imitation Mexican is since the founders came from Guadalajara in 1988....we are definitely more Tex-Mex as most "Mexican" restaurants are! The food is way better than Taco Bell, trust me! I am truly sorry that you had a bad experience...we do try to get it right!

very slow service and when added to the consent complaining by the waitress and then her associates almost caused my rother-in-law to leave, WISH WE HAD!!! people had no idea what pozole or Menudo was ao finally decided on something simple, a taco salad. it took 'FOREVER" for our food to arrive and mine was warm not hot as was my brother-in-law's food. simply put, if you're used to "REAL:" Mexican food(both of us are married to true Mexicans) then stay away from here. if you think taco ell is real Mexican food then you'll like this place. this is one restaurant I won't visit again.

While on Macon after visiting her at the hospital, I wanted something other than fast food. Not many restaurants near the hospitals. Though of this restaurant as its next to Kroger. Less than 10 minutes from hospitals. Food was excellent and served hot, with significant portions. I had the Chmi with beef tips, which was cheaper than chicken..initial service was excellent. I had to ask for a napkin for the chips and salsa, then a straw, when the plate was delivered I asked again for utensils. After I was finished I waited for my bill, finally waiving down another wait staff to get my bill. Good food, good prices, lacking in service..

I usually donât name other restaurants when comparing, but I donât know why people go to La Parilla, when Guitarras is so much better! La Parillaâs food is so much more flavorful. My family has din d here multiple times and we never leave feeling unsatisfied. Weâve tried a lot of items from their menu, but our favorite is the Macon Special! Service is excellent as always. They are friendly and attentive!

When checking into our hotel on a Saturday evening, I asked for a recommendation for dinner. The first restaurant mentioned was Margaritas Mexican Grill. We located the restaurant and were immediately seated. It was quite busy but several tables were available. It was a happy place with customers having a good time! Our server, Santos, promptly came to our table, dropped off chips and salsa and introduced himself. He was very personable and attentive to our needs during our meal. We both ordered small margaritas and the Taco Loco. They came very quickly. The margarita were average but the Taco Loco was excellent! We would definitely order it the next time. Santos came by multiple times to check on us. The service and food was great!

Love the atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is some of the best weâve ever had from a Mexican restaurant. We visit this restaurant anytime we want Mexican food. When you go, ask to be seated in Jackâs area. A great person, great personality and service is impeccable!
