Lumberton is a city in Robeson County, North Carolina, United States. The population has grown to 21,542 in the 2010 census from 20,795 in the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Robeson County, the largest county in the state. Lumberton, located in southern North Carolina's Inner Banks region, is located on the Lumber River. Founded in 1787 by John Willis, an officer in the American Revolution, Lumberton was originally a shipping point for lumber used by the Navy, which was sent downriver to Georgetown, South Carolina. Most of the town's growth, however, began shortly after World War II.

We had 2 orders of mixed types of the (street style) tocos, a order beef bean nachos for lunch. We finished the meal up with house made Flan. ALL of it was very good! The next time we are through the area, we will definitely stop there again.

This is not here sit down Americanized Mexican food. This is real cantina, Family-owned, Granddaughter is the only one who speaks English Authentic Mexican. What a fun and neat experience. Don't expect sitdown service, Real plates are even sides. Do expect fabulous Authentic Mexican food.

This had good reviews so we stopped for dinner as we were staying across the street. The white wine list was a mediocre chardonnay and white zinfandel (better known as grape juice). I ordered fajitas and that is what I got, no sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce, guacamole, or pico de gallo, The fajitas tasted like they just sautéed chicken, onions and peppers and forgot the spices, No taste at all. The rice and beans were just averageThey do offer a 10% discount for military.There have to be better places than this for Mexican food.

Sometimes your insides get all stuck and nothing seems to work quite the way it is supposed to. There's nothing like a quick trip to the Lumberton Taco Bell to get your insides all yummy again. I usually start with a bean burrito and wash it down with four or twenty packets of hot sauce. I don't smoother the burrito with the sauce - rookie mistake as that can make the outer layer soggy. I just tear open the packets and squirt all that yummy goodness directly on my tongue.

Stopped in after riding by and discovered it was a new spot. Immediately I was greeted upon walking in. I was thirsty at the time so I was hoping for fresh horchata but they suggested melon which I proceeded. The staff member suggested Al Pastor so I gave in and got something to eat too. The melon drink is very good. The tacos are fresh. I love the verde salsa and pica de gallo. There's a condiment bar to the side. This place has potential.
