I tried this restaurant a few weeks back because a co-worker of mine was raving about their tacos and their variety offered. The service was quick and the staff very nice and competent. However, I was disappointed with the tacos. I tried different varieties and I just didn't any of them. Some foods one must acquired a taste to enjoy. I don't think I'll acquired a taste for Qdoba Mexican Grill tacos.

We have eaten here numerous times for lunch. Everything we have had is excellent. It all comes from fresh ingredients. Starts off with a unique salsa. It is not your typical red salsa, but it is very good. The fresh Mex offerings are all very good and priced right. Service is attentive and wanting to please!. WE love this place, including the atmosphere. A definite great choice if you see it as an option.

The food is always awesome(so are the Margaritas). Angel is the best server in the place,he will remember things you usually get-especially my mother in law.People come from all of the surrounding towns that have their own Mexican places- that says alot about this place.

Ate dinner, ordered from the menu. We were seated promptly and drink orders taken. The place was clean and I liked the decor/feel of the place. Our server was friendly, even though it was busy, he didn't rush us. I had high hopes but sadly the food was just average. The salsa was bland although the chips were good. The meat in my chimichanga was seasoned well but dry. Overall I just wasn't impressed.

We stopped here after an eight-hour hall from Gatlinburg TN. The interior and atmosphere was very nice and inviting. Our server was very nice and attentive and our food came out extremely fast. Some of the best guac I've had at Mexican place, hands down. The chips were very warm and fresh and the salsa was very hearty and tasty. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area.
Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican food Iâve tasted! This place is a treasure! When I travel to / from Iowa / Tennessee I looked forward to stopping here. The place is unpretentious and (thank goodness) does not play the sort of music one often has to endure at many Mexican restaurants. The servers are friendly and attentive. Portions are generous. Iâd especially recommend the guacamole and the enchiladas suiza , but there are so many great choices! ****** ******
Javier and Oscar welcome us at the door and take great care during our entire weekly visit. We enjoy complimentary chips and salsa while perusing the menu choosing from wide selection of entrees at El Rey Sol. A lunch menu is available (Taco Salad is our lunch favorite.) Dinner choices of authentic Mexican dishes - which may be ordered separately or in combo choices served with rice and beans. We've tried a number of different entrees and have enjoyed them all. Check out El Rey Sol on the "Brick Street" in Lebanon IL.
