At the time of census 2010 Latacunga had 98,355 inhabitants, largely mestizo and indigenous.

The Restaurant was recommented in Lonly Planet and from our hostel. The staff was really friendly and we felt welcomed all the time. The food was good we had a Mix of mexican food and Vegetarian food. The guacamole could be a bit better. It tasted like nothing.

I had the California Burger which was awesome and came with a side of salsa (e.g. champignon).
