I called in a to go order at 8:20p.m. and I was told it would be 5-10 minutes for my salad and chips and queso. I arrived at 8:30, it is currently 8:45 and the waiter approached me and said mam what did you order? Thankfully I remember who even took my order.....still waiting. We found this restaurant online and the reviews looked decent. I ordered a San Marco Burrito. Wow. When it arrived, I did not think I would be able to finish it but it was soooooo good, I could not stop until it was gone. Also the largest burrito I have seen. My business associate ordered the fajitas and his order was equally huge. The atmosphere is great and the server was good. You must try it if you are in Toledo.

Cold rainy night we decided to visit Carmels. Used to be a summer patio hangout but hadn't been there since it had passed from mother to son. First the good-location is close to whitmer high school which has very good sports teams so I can see this as a pre or post game watering hole. In the summer the patio is open and packed. Waitress was knowledgeable about menu but otherwise just ok. Large portions. The bad. Food was bland and gooey. Except my quesadilla which arrived 5 min after the other meals without any visible cheese. Just a fajita in a flour tortilla. Guacamole stated to be made fresh daily tasted pre made and fairly bland. Visible avocado chunks tho. Others have told us the margaritas are great but really pretty average. The ugly. Vinyl bench taped with black duct tape. Walls cream but in desperate need of a paint job. Bathrooms function but yuck. Difficult parking on a evening when the restaurant was 1/3 full. Obviously a neighborhood gathering place as wait staff knew the regulars. Better Mexican food all over Toledo.

Have been going here for years and the food and service have always been consistently good. We have never had a bad meal. Went here recently for a big family celebration. We received our food promptly, even with 17 adults and 5 kids and everyone said their food was very good. It's hard to please that many people in any restaurant, but they do an excellent job. If you have never been here and always go to the same Mexican restaurants in Toledo, I highly recommend you give them a try. Douglas Rd is torn up in front of their restaurant, but still easy access from side streets if you're coming from the north. If you're coming from the south, no problem, you can still access Douglas Rd if you are going north. Also forgot to mention the great margarita's and sangria!!!Thank you for your review Linda!I'm glad to see that we were able to take care of your large party without any problems!Hope to see you in the future!

Been here twice and both and both times the food was nasty. Definitely not very authentic tasting. The salsa is terrible. I make homemade salsa and it's awesome compared to theirs and I'm not even Hispanic. I don't know how they have 2 locations when their food is not good?

This Taco Bell is still relatively new, clean, and offers good service. The drive-thru is usually pretty quick.
