We stumbled across this place on our way to Bend. Very comfortable casual atmosphere with pretty painted murals on the walls. Delicious homemade salsa with chips. Excellent food, very friendly service. Would definitely recommend!

First impressions are good, greeted by a friendly gentleman and a nice cozy but small restaurant. Unfortunately that is the only thing good about this place.Chips and salsa, store bought chips with standard salsa you get at most boring restaurants. The beer was nice and cold but was oddly served with a margarita glass with salt around the rim. Very strange. Once our small bowl of salsa was almost empty the waiter took it a way quickly, I thought to re fill it but it never came back.We had the fajitas for two, prawns and chicken. There was plenty of food, it just didn't taste good. Overcooked maybe, or re warmed up anyway it had no flavor and the veggies were limp. There was no hot sauce on the table, and the salsa already taken away so I asked for some hot sauce. The look on his face was like no one had ever asked for hot sauce before and he wasn't sure if he had any. A few minutes later he gave us some and we drowned the fajitas to make it palatable.#2 restaurant in la pine, we actually drove past the #3 restaurant a Chinese takeaway that didn't inspire. Maybe best not to eat in La Pine.

This Taco Bell has chili cheese burritos! I know that is a weird thing to get pumped about but they are had to find. I am adding this to my favorites so I am sure to stop the next time I am through town.
