While Chipotle may have been one of the first "make your own" type of restaurants, it really has been passed by competitors. We still eat there occasionally, but I am not a great fan. I would like to see some more ingredients and sauces.

It was a lovely summer eve, so we sat on the patio. The waitress was nice and efficient. Drinks and water came quickly, as did the chips and salsa. We ordered queso dip which was great with the margarita pitcher. The food was great! Just love the pulled chicken with BBQ and corn cakes with guacamole and lettuce/tomato. The portion is large and nice to share. The one enchilada with a side of really good refried beans was a very large portion. (one enchilada here may equal 3 enchiladas at a chain restaurant). Enjoyed the evening and we all will be back. As an aside, my son comes here on occasion with a group of special ed adults. The staff is just wonderful with the guys!! Thank you!

First of all I asked the employees what they recommend my first time there, since then Ive been hooked on the sweet sauce and popular house sauce together. The meats were freshly cooked so they weren't chewy like a competitor. I was happy with how fresh everything was but the sauce keeps me coming back. The atmosphere is just like Chipotle but orange, wear your sunglasses and take it to go!

Recently a group from my office ate here during a weekday lunch. The restaurant was relatively empty, and we were seated quickly. The ambiance is good, and there is not a lot of background noise. The tortilla chips were served promptly along with salsa and drinks. The salsa was not my favorite; one of the competitors' tastes a bit more fresh. We ordered lunch entrees, and they were served quickly. I selected the chicken quesadilla entrée along with a guacamole salad. It was a bit salty, however the portion size was good. Our servers were efficient, although they were not particularly outgoing or friendly. I would consider eating at El Rancho Grande again for a happy hour and dinner. They have a nice patio for warm weather dining.

One of three Elsa's locations.
Elsa's was one of the first Mexican restaurants in the area with their first location on Linden Avenue in a sketchy part of town. Despite its location, everyone flocked there for the great food and margaritas. Now, there are multiple locations including this one in Kettering. Elsa's bought the old Urban Suburban building and expanded a patio area with heaters, fans and televisions for sports. Elsa's in Centerville has a separate bar and restaurant. This restaurant is set up more like a bar with big TVs to watch everything. There is a kids' menu, good Mexican food, and some of the best margaritas. Their signature is the Bad Juan. There is not extensive "American" menu, but if you like Mexican, you can't go wrong!

Upon entering Pepito's, one observes a festive, welcoming atmosphere. A server recognized us from our one and only previous visit, seated us immediately and asked if we wanted the selection about which we raved after eating with gusto. She remembered our that we liked a cheese dip with our chips, remembered how I ordered a Margarita (the best that I have ever had, by the way). The staff, as I observe, remembers its patrons and welcomes us as if we have entered a fun family reunion! The Supreme Chimichanga is fabulous! This restaurant has the absolute best Mexican Food that I have ever tasted!
