If you don't speak Spanish, you'll be amazed by the amount of fish on this menu. Mariscos means fish and Sirenita means sea siren, so voila- fish. Mostly booths, a few tables. Ample parking it a large strip mall on River Road, it doesn't face the road, so look for Rite Aid. Menu about 5 pages, mostly shrimp, fish, etc. Soda average, chips average, salsa peculiar- I couldn't place the flavor, it was a rusty yellow color (not your standard tomato) with little chunks of red onion, cilantro and other spices- not sure if I liked it or not. Special Burrito Mojado (means wet, or soaked) was rice, beans, chicken or shredded beef, drenched in a strange orange sauce (bland) with cheese and a scoop of sour cream. Nothing to write home about, but at least the beef had flavor. Beans were fine. Pretty much a C level restaurant all around, service was average, decor typical, food Americanized, prices about right, nothing to complain about and nothing to rave about. I think it may be new, another Mexican restaurant was there at the beginning of the year, I believe. Did not use restroom, and could not quite see in kitchen for cleanliness report, but seating area was fine.

My wife and I have always enjoyed eating at Chipotle's but never loved the drive from north Keizer to the Lancaster restaurant. We were thrilled when we heard that they would open a restaurant at Keizer Station and planned to be regular customers. On our first visit we were disappointed with the stingy servers, We told ourselves that it would get better and wrote it off as opening week jitters. After four visits and no improvement I think we're done trying. So disappointing. We love the food but I just don't feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Half a spoon full of rice? Really?? I don't recall this being an issue at the Lancaster store. I used to marvel that they could stuff all that into the tortilla. Not at Keizer Station. There's room to spare. Hope that works well for you.
Wow, hidden gem. Menu is extensive, pasta, seafood, steaks, Mexican. I had avocado shrimp salad (sautéed shrimp and mushrooms) delicious! Husband had a seafood trio of fish taco, seafood relleno, seafood enchilada. This is high end menu, tables with clothes and nice stemware, Fresca Margarita was great as well. It is hidden behind a bar on River Road, so Iâm afraid it is not getting the notice it deserves! Food will not disappoint! And within walking distance of home!
On a recent trip to Salem, we made a brief excursion to this local haunt, just over the city limits to the neighboring town of Keizer. This is not a touristy kind of place but more like where the local hispanic/Latino population go to get their fix of authentic food. This is a Mexican grocery-produce-bucher shop with a little restaurant area in the back. The menu features authentic items including goat and other things you will not see in the run of the mill Tex-Mex joints. For the less adventurous, they offer the usual tacos, burritos, etc. with your choice of meats and homemade salsas. I highly recommend the carnitas. I've been to Mexico almost a dozen times and these are flat our the best carnitas I've ever had outside of Mexico. When we complimented the cashier, he proudly told us that they move 300-350 lb. of it per day on the weekends. The prices qualify it as a bargain but the quality of the food is top notch. Worth the trip!

If I am going to eat Fast Food I typically go to Taco Bell or Jack in the Box because they always have new cool things on the menu. The one in Keizer is no exception to the typical Taco Bell experience of good food, fast friendly service and lots to choose from. I am a bit of a creature of habit especially when I'm trying to lose a few pounds. So I normally get 3 crisp tacos with fire sauce or maybe a Burrito Supreme and one crisp taco. The man that works the drive through is very nice. He is probably fiftyish and may be the owner. Anyway nice place and very friendly service!

I've been to many "standard" Mexican restaurants over the years, which is the category that Casamigos would be in. Let's start with the positives: ample parking, short wait times, plenty of seats, a very attentive and friendly staff and, most importantly, their surprisingly well-flavored and generously-portioned entrees. Yes, the decor is uninspiring and standard. Yes, the menu items are all the usual suspects. And, yes, it's not food truck or tacqueria gourmet, hipster, foodie Mexican food. If that's what you want look elsewhere. But, for what it is, I was most pleasantly surprised by the quality of my tamale entree, and my wife was equally pleased with the macho burrito she ordered. And I'll leave it at that...

I have always felt that La Hacienda Real is the best Mexican restaurant in Salem by far, but a few days ago I ordered camerones al mojo de ajo. Upon receiving the large platter of food, of which two-thirds was beans and rice, I was surprised to see the shrimp and mushrooms in a deep dish floating in a broth. The mushrooms comprised about 80% of the solid volume, the rest consisting of small shrimp. It seemed more like a shrimp and mushroom broth rather than the usual offering of sauteed shrimp, mushrooms and onions. The garlic flavor was weak, probably watered down by the large amount of broth. Also the shrimp were smaller than one usually expects, which is a way of reducing the cost of ingredients as larger shrimp are more expensive, as are the large servings of beans and rice.I will return to dine at La Hacienda Real, because in the past they have always met or exceeded my expectations, but this was a blow to my confidence in them.

Tonight was our first time at El Patron and we ordered take out. The food was excellent, service perfect and price quite reasonable. The servings were generous enough to have plenty left over for lunch tomorrow. My wife and I had the Enchiladas de Cameron and Chile Rellenos, both with rice and salad and we shared one Tamale De Puerco. Excellent food! Highly recommend!

We were staying at the Keizer Quality Inn, and this place is right next door as to walking distance, very clean place, festive and bright, but the food, oh my, the food, Wow, the best we've had in a very very long time, if ever... the Chili Relleno, and shredded beef chimi were the bomb, as well as a few cold Modeno's on draft with salt around the top of the glass..green chili burrito was awesome too.....great chips and salsa, and priced just right

Very welcoming and clearly they have repeat customers. The typical chips and salsa were served with a bean dip as well and the chips were just as we likeâlight and crispy. Unique Salvadoran and Mexican seafood and specialty dishes. I had the crab tacos with a delicious tomato/avocado salsa and good corn tortillas that I would have rated excellent except it was tepid and I would have liked it warm. My husband has green chili everywhere and found theirs to be ok, but again not excellent. The atmosphere is so charming, with festive decor and colorful embroidered tablecloths, that we would give it another visit.
