Find out what Mexican restaurants to try in Kampala. Near the banks of Lake Victoria, Kampala, the capital of Uganda, is a lively city with a long history. Before the British, the city was the capital of the Buganda Kingdom, and remains so to this day. The city sits on several hills, each housing an important government or religious building. Kasubi Hill is the home of the Kasubi Tombs, a sacred burial ground of Buganda Kings. The Uganda Museum sits atop Kololo Hill, and features a hands-on collection of traditional musical instruments.

The little Donkey is an Authentic Mexican Restaurant. We serve burritos, tacos, enchiladas and more. We have margaritas, Coronas, our famous Blue Agave,a traditional drink with Tequila, tropical lime juice, triple sec on rocks and more. When you visit Kampa
Come for the churros in the cinnamon sauce, absolutely amazing! It is a basic location with a couple of picnic tables, so don't expect much but the food was great (I did find a large bone in my burrito which was a bit worrying..) and the juices nice. Hi, We are first of all sorry for the late response and I would like to forward to you our apology for the bone in your Burrito, we shall have that fixed. However we appreciate you for your support towards the development of The Little Donkey Kampala.
Terrible service, slow and one of our party didn't get their meal till we all finished and were ready to go. And then even asking three times! Food dull, Java needs to update the menu. Setting not particularly attractive. Noisy and busy, a bit like sitting in a corridor in a mall.

The food here is good, not really Mexican but suffices since we live in Uganda. Their lunch specials are good and a cold beer with their chips and salsa is perfect.
