This Amigos is housed in a former fast food restaurant. Their menu offerings are vast so you will find a choice for everyone. Service is courteous and food delivery is prompt. They now have a new "glossy" menu with pictures which makes your choice easier. Highly recommend Amigos.

We visit Amigo Mexican Restaurant quite often, since Mexican food is something our whole family can agree on. Overall, we like the cheese dip and chips the best at this restaurant compared any other in the Johnson City area (that we have visited.) The menu isn't huge, but it has a nice choice. I usually get a quesadilla or fajitas and my family likes quesadillas or Pollo Loco. The servings are large and very filling. Overall, I think it is very good. It's not special or unusual, but always a good meal. The waiters are excellent. They are very quick and efficient and rarely have an order wrong. We enjoy this restaurant very much.

This place used to be a favorite. Don't think we'll ever come back. Servers were so lackadaisical it was ridiculous. Continually dropping stuff on the floor. No care attitudes. Our food was mediocre at best. The steak was barely cut in chunks and there are no knives. Was extremely difficult to eat it as the pieces were all attached. Big disappointment.

They have an extensive selection of beers and liquors, fast knowledgeable bartenders and fast - pleasant waitstaff. The Tacos here are DELICIOUS! Sometimes I just go in for a few drinks with friends, sometimes to eat dinner, sometimes for Trivia, it is always fun. This place gets swamped from time to time but the Staff does a good job of keeping the crowd Happy and Full!

Poblano's Mexican Grill and Bar has been family owned since its beginnings in 2004. Our family is steeped in restaurant tradition since 1977. The traditional food that we serve today is inspired by the Mexican food that was lovingly prepared in the home t
Heading back to Ohio tomorrow after a four day bike trip. This place was in walking distance to the hotel so we decided to try it, good decision. They have a salsa bar with a good variety, complimentary chips & black bean dip, outstanding margaritas, and the service was awesome. They offer fresh guacamole made right at your table. Had we known this earlier we would have ordered that. Try the Shrimp & Bacon Tacos! We are so elated that you stopped by Poblanos on your travels to Tennessee. The Bacon Shrimp Tacos are a great suggestion. The table-side guac is a must! We hope to see you back at Poblanos when you are in the area again.

The location is less than inspiring being right next to a car wash, but restaurant is clean and the guacamole was made right before being served. It was so good I scraped the last bit out of the bowl. Tacos to order, sizzling fajitas, and a cheese quesadilla were all delicious. Tempted to go back to try breakfast which is served all day. Highly recommend this restaurant for yummy, fresh and quick Mexican food.

Came here with a large group just after lunch hour rush. The beans and salsa weren't the best, but most dishes were solid choices. The mushroom quesadilla stands out, since most of the other dishes are standard Mexican plates you can find at most local Mexican restaurants. The carnitas taco was a little on the fatty side, but overall the food is good and, for the price, you can't ask for much more. The server did a fine job handling our party.
