Things to do in Hobbs
Luna's is by far the best Mexican food in Hobbs. Known for it's Sizzlers...it also has nachos, burgers, and chili dogs. But the meat in the Sizzlers and sizzler nachos is so good.....why try anything else?? It's been in business since 1968...that says it all. It's a MUST have when I'm in Hobbs.

Seems weird to review a fast food place but this Taco Bell in Hobbs has outstanding service. I must admit I use the drive-thru almost exclusively but the line moves along quickly. The customer service is the best I've ever experienced. They are polite, greet you and thank you. I have never gotten the wrong food but my orders are normally small and I'm not fussy like some people who are in line ordering for a family reunion or want to reinvent the menu. The food is freshly made. Never had a bad experience other than getting behind carload of people all screaming into the microphone at once and changing the order multiple times, but that's not Taco Bells fault.

I can't believe I've been in Hobbs 2 years and have not eaten here. It's kind of off the beaten path but worth a stop. Not exactly what the locals would call authentic Mexican cuisine but more Tex-Mex which I am used to and enjoy. The place was extremely clean and the service was A+. Drinks were refilled without asking. Chips and salsa delicious. I had the fajitas and thought they were excellent. This will be my #1 go to for Tex-Mex fix. They have a drive thru also.
Gaby's Burritos are very large and well made. I usually order the chorizo and egg burrito. This location is To-Go only and you must order from the window. Parking here is a little difficult, but you usually don't have to wait too long.
Taco Villa is a chain, mostly in nearby Texas towns. Hobbs has had it since the late 70s or early 80s. We like it WAY better than Taco Bell. The workers are very nice and the drive thru is quick. I usually eat here 2 or 3 times a week. They have a great sodas (with vanilla and cherry flavorings) and SWEET tea. They have a variety of usual choices like tacos, chalupas, burritos, and the Grilled Chicken Burrito is our favorite - especially with the spicy green sauce. They also have selections for kids, lots of nachos or fries on the menu, along with some desserts like apple burritos and sopapillas. The price is really good and they have a couple of combo options. It's a staple here and in our family too.

We are in town for a Bendor show. On are way back to the hotel. We used the app to place a togo order. Everything was good. They gave use extra ranch as asked. I know that this is a chain restaurant, but I highly recommend this place in Hobbs NM.Hi John, thank you so much for taking the time to send us this feedback regarding your to go order at our Hobbs Chili's. We will share this feedback with the manager and look forward to your next visit!
Food here is quite terrific. Had the taco combination--one al pastor and one al carbon. Both were huge and delicious, but I think the al pastor (pork with pineapple) was the most amazing. The frijoles were also particularly tasty. Service was friendly and warm. I will be back for sure.

We our mother out for dinner Saturday night and ordered our normal enchiladas and I had large nachos with green Chile and shredded chicken. The restaurant was busy , and it was chilly outside, but all 3 of our dinners were served cold and pretty tasteless. At lest the service was good, but a disappointing night.

I found the sign but no building. So I went right up road to Gator J can I loved eating there. Where the sign was at was just an empty lot

We we're pleased when we pulled in the parking lot at 2 pm on a Sunday and the parking lot was full. They were very busy and the food was great. We were seated near the kitchen and we saw lots of awesome looking forward. All staff was friendly. No complaints. I would recommend this place for a good meal. Prices were reasonable. We left with a full belly.
