Just outside of downtown Saint Louis in historic Soulard, Mission Taco Joint serves up Mexi-Cali street food, local beer and craft cocktails.
This would be an easy place to eat with a group having a variety of dietary preferences and restrictions. On a Thursday night around 630 there was a thirty minute wait but it went by fast. They do offer online ordering. The drinks were great and generous. Very affordable. Would definitely return.

Okay, confession as I type this review I am now craving their chips n salsa and fajitas. Servings are huge. I have never had a bad experience or meal here. Whether I am there for a business lunch when near Soulard or there for date night the service is always great and the food superior to any other of its kind in St Louis. This is a must visit when in the downtown or Soulard area and you are visiting. And more than worth the drive in from the suburbs!!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The place looked new and modern. The two $5 box meals were a good value. The food was fresh and the staff was pleasant.
Don Chencho Restaurant is a family owned business that has a combination of the north and south Mexican Cuisin. Making a perfect taste of the Carne Asada from Monterrey to the mexican munchies of Veracruz. We have a variety of special house dishes as well
My coworker and I came in for lunch and found this place when we got lost. The service was good, and we got our food quickly. We were both happy with the food, and definitely the price.
Pleasant surprise to find this apparently new restaurant in Granite City. We had not seen it listed on TripAdvisor but other social media gave it strong positive reviews so we gave it a try. We only did take-out but service was fast and very friendly. Restaurant was busy with patrons inside and on patio so locals have embraced the establishment. Plenty of Spanish spoken here. We ate food back at hotel - delicious. Well above average by our standards. Reasonable prices. We are encouraging family and friends to try this restaurant.

Hector runs a good place here. Food and drinks are good. One of my favorite places to eat in town by far ! Wife loves the fish tacos and the Si Cameron. I enjoy the burritos and the Heartland Special. Good eats, period.

If you are looking for good food at good prices this is one of the popular Mexican restaurants in Granite City. Nice decor and plenty of seating. We have been here many times. The chips & salsa are good...salsa could be spicier. Margaritas are good but on the sweet side. This time I ordered the seafood fajitas which consisted of scallops, shrimp & a nice piece of grilled tilapia. The fajitas came with rice, refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, tortillas & pico de gallo. Very good & I took half of it home. My husband ordered the cheese covered steak which came with the sides that came with my meal. He loved it & left nothing.
