My husband an I ate at Gran Plaza on June 9, 2019 while hiking in the Faribault area. What a great find! Friendly staff and the food was really good! He had a combo with different enchiladas. I had the Alambres with chicken... Delicious!!! reasonable prices. So far this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in S.E. MN! Iâll be back!!

My wife and I ate dinner at El Tequila and had a reasonably good experience. The price was right, the service very attentive without being in your face. The food was ok and the margaritas were pretty good (although I recognize that margarita judging is fraught with personal preferences).

Small family place which we usually like, remodeled since last was an Italian restaurant. Usually most Mexican style places have chips and salsa when you are seated, this did not. Nachos came without grated cheese but with a few streaks of cheez wiz from a spray can. Seasoning on tacos was good, but again no cheese. We have heard others talk about soups being good there but did not try. Prices were high for this food and place. Just a few doors down is a much livelier Mexican restaurant that is much better for food and you can get a drink there too. I would not recommend this place.

2 hard shells, potato ole and a soda...*Taco meat was luke warm at best**Potato Ole's were NON-seaoned***Gurgling stomach for at least 2 days and counting after the visit...if you know what I meanBottom line - very disappointing
