When we think Chevys Fresh Mex, we go to our happy place; fun-lovinâ guests, fajitas & margaritas, and the freshest food, always from scratch. Founded in 1986 in Alameda, California, Chevys is an ultra-casual restaurant concept that offers guests an array
Even though the restaurant was packed, we really enjoyed our Valentine's dinner. The margarita's were very good, as was the food. The staff was friendly and caring.
I have been going to Jimboys Tacos since the mid-seventies, mostly in Sacramento, California. I now live more than half the year in Tucson, Arizona, and alas, we have no Jimboys. Sure, there are a million Mexican taquerias, restaurants, food trucks and stands in Tucson, but none compare to Jimboys. As soon as we hit Northern California, a trip to Jimboys is a first priority. As someone else noted, the tacos are filled with wonderfully seasoned ingrediants; whether ground beef, steak, chicken, carnitas, or shredded beef, fish or shrimp. They have a light coating of Mexican parmesan on the outside which just adds to the flavor and come with cheese and lettuce on the inside. The menu covers everything from tacos, to El Gordo's (huge tacos) burritos, quesadillas, taquitos, nachos, tostadas, taco salads, enchiladas to burgers! Most can be ordered a la carte, but combo plates are available too. There is always a daily special available, but I never make it that far down the menu. A salsa bar is always nearby with at least four different salsa, jalapenos, and lemons allows you to flavor your food the way you want. Try this place, I'm sure you'll love it. By the way, most of them serve breakfast too!

Food was very good with large portions and prices were not too bad. Excellent guacamole - and I have never liked guacamole until I had a bit of theirs! Nachos were enormous as were the chicken chimichangas that were ordered. While the food was quite tasty, I had to rate it lower than Very Good because I echo some other reviewers comments that the restaurant was dirty and the staff was not very friendly. If their dining area was cleaned up and repaired as well as the employees making more of an effort to be a little bit more welcoming instead of treating you like an inconvenience, I could have easily rated this place much better than I did. Perhaps on my next trip there I will use the drive thru instead...
Mi Sazon Mexican Grill is an authentic fast casual Mexican restaurant. Customers can build their own burritos and tacos exactly as they want with many meat and vegetarian options. We also have hand made pupusas. Every food item is prepared fresh in our ki
I absolutely love this place! I always get their carne asada quesadilla. Nothing too fancy...just meat and cheese. It's perfect. So flavorful, and the meat is so tender. My boyfriend got the surf and turf burrito. He didn't say much during the meal other than mmm noises and head nodding. He loved it! It's in a weird location, but if you're driving through Fairfield, plan a stop here!

While being authentic this place was sort of just above average. The margueritas were fairly tame for the price. The enchiladas were almost sauceless. The beans contained meat of some sort so vegetarians beware. Nothing really jumped out as stellar. But there was nothing wrong with the food either. But from the reviews we were expecting more.

We were in the neighborhood and wanted some Mexican food. You order at the counter, then they bring the food to you. The staff was very friendly. The food very served surprisingly fast. The taco salad and enchiladas were all very tasty. Prices were very reasonable. There is plenty of parking. We will be back.

We actually went to the Pelayo's in Vacaville. There was a short wait for a table but the food was worth waiting for. Service was excellent.

My husband and I stopped in here for dinner one night while passing through town. It was so good we almost stayed and extra night. I had the chimichanga and it was great! Cooked perfectly, crispy and light with plenty of fillings. IF you're in town stop here for sure!

Always enjoy the food and drinks here. Great selection of food and always good. My only reason for not giving it 5 of 5 is that sometimes the service can be slow for both food and drinks. Otherwise, I would recommend it if you are in the area.

Our group of 5, including a toddler, arrived at 5pm on a Friday evening, so we knew we were going to wait. My wife & I had walked over from a nearby motel, so I planned to sit at the bar, have a few brews & wait it out. Even the bar had no seating available! I wound up sitting outside, overhearing lots of complaining from others who thought they could just show up at that time & not have to wait. Our wait turned out only to be about 20 minutes for a table that was perfect for our group. My son & his wife, military types from nearby TAFB, made healthy modifications to the items offered on the menu that were no problem. My wifeâs plate of carne asada was not what we are used to. Weâre used to it being sliced in strips. This wasnât. But it was good. Her rice was more like plain white rice. I was quite pleased to see the option of swapping out my 3 item comboâs rice & beans for a salad. And it was a great salad. I will say that the food was worth the wait. I love Mexican food. Ironically, itâs kinda hard to find it well prepared these days. This was the very best Iâve had in a long time.
