We decided to try Herby's El Mexicano this evening for dinner based on previously posted good reviews. We were quickly seated and ordered water and unsweetened iced tea NO lemon and some chips and salsa. When our waiter Ben returned with the drinks and chips he asked if we had any questions but it was standard Mexican fare so we placed our order. I was already prepared for slow service based on some of the other reviews I read so no big deal there. It didn't take long to finish the water and unsweetened tea since the glasses were filled to the top with ice and had about 4 sips of liquid in them. I saw the waitresses service the other tables several times but kept waiting for our waiter Ben to show up...but no luck. We were thirsty and couldn't wait any longer so I finally asked one of the other waitresses if we could get our water and unsweetened tea NO lemon refilled and she was happy to do so. She filled the water from the pitcher and brought the unsweetened tea back with ice to the top, a lemon, and another 4 sips of unsweetened tea. We waited a long time for our food so our drinks (4 sips) were completely empty again long before our food came out. No Ben and the other waitresses serviced their tables and turned and quickly ran off. There was no getting their attention from a customer from one of Ben's tables. Seems like this must have happened many times before. Ben finally brought our food and we didn't know when we were going to see him again so we asked for more unsweetened tea NO lemon, napkins, a straw; and water, basic meal requests that should be automatic. Ben brought my wife's fajitas out with NO tortillas so off he went again for the tortillas while her food, and mine, sat on the table getting cold. He finally showed up with the tortillas and my tea WITH a lemon, which I quickly handed back to him, and off he went again. I took a sip (1 of 4) of my tea and nearly choked because it was extremely SWEET TEA with lemon of course. Couldn't flag down the other waitresses (they wouldn't make eye contact) so I had to wait until Ben finally returned after we were all done eating to get a glass of unsweetened tea. He brought the check with the unsweetened tea and ran off again. I put my credit card down and suspected we wouldn't see Ben again for a long time based on how the night was going. We were right. After waiting for 15 minutes for him to show up and take our check and credit card, we finally got up and went to the register to pay. The hostess asked how things went and I said the food was good but the service was awful...just awful. She said OK....that's it...just OK. Didn't ask anything else...just responded...OK. She processed the credit card payment and out the door we went never to return to Herby's El Mexicano again. What a shame because the food tasted very good but service was nonexistent and so was a smile from any of the staff there.

Ate here for dinner. I ordered the Carnitas. Definitely not the best I've ever had, but it was ok. The service was good and the staff friendly. I believe you can "bring your own bottle". I did see a few groups walk in with bottles of wine. I also believe they give a discount to military/veterans. I heard someone in front of me ask and then showed ID. Gold star for that.I'm definitely willing to give another try.

After eating burgers and chicken tenders for a week, it was a pleasant surprise to find somewhere that catered to taste buds.The restaurant is lovely inside and served up authentic Mexican food, service was top notch and the prices extremely good, highly recommended

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere! I've been here several times with a group for lunch and with a friend for dinner; both menus have plenty of options and the specials are always inventive and flavorful. Nice portions and fresh ingredients. Margaritas are excellent!

I cannot say enough nice things about the Neato Burrito in New Cumberland! I have the best experience with every visit....this place just makes me smile! The staff are so warm and welcoming....a young edgy urban vibe setting.....with orders custom created, just the way you like it, done FAST! I typically order their Cowboy Crunch Burrito In A Bowl, to go, and ask for extra flavor which they create perfectly! My taste buds are always satisfied, making me want to return on those days when I just need something yummy, on the go, that is actually good for you!They have a nice large seating area for those who choose to dine in, with a mostly Tex-Mex healthy menu for all your organic, vegan, vegetarian friends as well as your meat lovers! It's a cost effective, crowd pleasing venue! Very family friendly and tons of free parking out front! KFC and Taco Bell in the same building. Can it get better than that when you are in a hurry? Conveniently located right off I83 North. No easy access going South I83. Food has always been great when we were there.
