Find your nearby Taco Bell at 1600 N. Riverside Dr. in Espanola. We're serving all your favorite menu items, from classic burritos and tacos, to new favorites like the $5 Double Stacked Tacos Box, Crunchwrap Supreme, Fiesta Taco Salad, and Chalupa Supreme
IF you want tacos, try ANY hole in the wall taco joint. At Ojo Caliente, their fish tacos are amazing! There are several family restaurants in NM that serve tacos. Sit back, have some. Save Taco Bell for when you hit a state that doesn't actually know how to do Mexican food. We do.
My sister and I were going to Ojo Caliente hot springs and decided what food deals the casino had. OMG, my sister had the salmon with veggies and mashed potatoes for $16.00 and it was such a large portion she had it for dinner as well. She said it was the best salmon she had ever had. I had the green chili stew. A huge bowl for $6.00. The cup was $4.00.It was delicious too. This is a hidden gem. The casino has smoking but this restaurant is smoke free and it is close to the casinos front entrance so you in the smoking area for a brief minute or less. I highly suggest stopping here.
The have the best chicken and ribs cooked on a big outdoor barbecue! Generous portions for a fair price. My Husband had the ribs which was great and I had the chicken, also great. Nice clean tables outdoors, picnic style. Definitely recommend you try this place!

Wonderful authentic Mexican food in a tiny restaurant hidden behind Pizza Hut. El Rodeo is spotless and service is great. I had a delicious watermelon agua fresca with 4 shrimp tacos, which were beer been with avocado slices and a halved minature lime nicely no resented. The menu is extensive and in Spanish and has more adventurous choices like buche and menudo as well.

I went in here on the premise that they had other Mexican food other than seafood. Seafood this far inland kind of frightens me. So I ordered the steak and potatoes, and was quite happy with it.

JoAnn's Ranch doesn't look like a Mexican restaurant. It looks like some sort of fast-food place that failed and was then converted into a mom-and-pop place. That's probably what it is but the food's Mexican (with other stuff on the menu) and it's very, very good. We stopped here on the way back from Taos. It was a spur of the moment decision. I love hole-in-the-wall restaurants of any kind and JoAnn's had the look. All four of us were happy. Three of us had Mexican food. One had the BBQ ribs. We all left full and happy. What more could you ask?

We found this gem en route from Abiquiú to Santa Fe. We took a detour to check it out. So glad we stopped. Iâm sure we were the only folks from out of town.Tortas Rainbow, in heart of Española, is authentic Mexican Street Food says other reviewers, and not Tex-Mex. I believe it.We enjoyed platters of shredded beef enchiladas, one green and one red, with extra red chili sauce on the side. Perfectly spiced. Also had Mexican Coke, 10X better taste than USA-made Coke with corn syrup.Freshly prepared to order. Promptly served.Few tables for sit-in, or take out.We met the proprietor and learned heâs owned and run the place for past 8 years. Heâs proud of his store, and friendly to new patrons. Menu in Spanish and English. No language problem. No beer or wine license.Tips: Ask for extra Red or Green sauce, and donât be turned away by the location in a tired Strip Shopping Center.

We have been here twice, and find the food, especially the lamb dishes that they have in abundance, quite good. However the service is slow and disorganized.

Stopped off on our travels and ordered a burrito and tamale each. They were all enjoyable, good quality for fast food, no complaints

Yes, this is the experience you want for real New Mexican food. Many places have toned down versions, of Tex-Mex, Cali-Mex, or more fast food style. The salsa here is hot (Jalapeños) as is the Hatch green chili, so be ready for hot, not mild-to-medium but billed as "hot." Expect some in the party may complain. BTW best sopapillas I have had in a long time, very light and papery. Also, my wife had a Margherita that was not watered down. Have one, if you have two consider giving up the car keys.Classic very old building, re-tooled for the modern era. Enter the parking lot via a driveway east of the building, walk back to the street front but on the west side to enter.
