The cadillac margarita was very good and so was the exceptional service by Julio!The Enchiladas (chicken with New Mexico Chile) had plenty of Chicken, but none of the promised sauce. The salsa was good, but stay away from anything you might consider authentic Mexican sauces.

On Elk Grove Blvd., in the darling town of Elk Grove - El Jardin Mexican Restaurant is a great place to go have good Mexican food. Great service, delicious chips and foods. We really like to go there when we are in Elk Grove.

I was looking for a place I hadn't ate at before and found Freebirds World Burrito. A good alternative to Chipotle, with different types of tortilla wraps, a vegi dish and a good choice of meats and sides. The burritos do taste more american style than authentic. I didn't like that they charge you to get some corn chips, which would have bumped the price of a monster burrito with guacamole and a soda to $15 +. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again.

This restaurant is super clean, the food is delicious and not salty like so many places! The salsa bar is amazing - I recommend the guacamole dip! Everything is fresh and very tasty.

We love this restaurant. We come here often and have never had a bad meal. The salsa bar is really good and you can buy some to take home. The "Super Taco" is a meal in itself. Probably the weakest offering is the salad, but you can make salad at home. I can't replicate their entrees. I have friends from out of town who always order the Chile Verde and say it's the best they've had outside of Mexico. The true telling sign of the quality of the food is the number of Latinos eating here.

Some Mexican food chains are routine in their food tastes, but On the Border is well above those types. With a comfortable fall temperature, my wife and I ate outdoors for a late lunch, and found it was near-perfect for both a setting and for the food. My wife has a very good Spinach & Mushroom Quesadilla, while I had a superb Chile Relleno combo plus a cup of Queso. Margaritas were excellent, and my wife also found a fresh Line Skinny drink as perfect to sip during a pleasant afternoon. Service was great, with Jen knowledged, entertaining and quick in serving whatever we wanted.

My son and his famiy took me to Plaza del Sol last weekend. The food was good and the service was even better! I had a two item combo with a beef tostada and a beef quesadilla, served with rice and refried beans. Add a Pacifico, and my meal was absolutely great! I can see why this is one of their favorite restaurants!

very nice Mexican, southwest, and even Navaho plates, it has very nice and sophisticated dishes, a large menu of them, a good salad/salsa bar, one of those wonderful expansive non alcoholic drink machines. It has all of these things at a very reasonable price

Awesome restaurant for Italian-Mexican fusion food. The decor was really comfortable and eclectic. Dim lights, large murals and even pillows. Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious. We had an excellent salad, veggie pasta, mole pasta and two amazing desserts- brownie ice cream and churro ice cream.
