The two of us ordered guacamole, tacquitos, and tostadas. The food was very plentiful - the quacamole was enough for 6 - we were just 2. It was a little bland, but chunky with tomatoes and onions - could have more flavor. The tacquitos were very good - but could include some cheese or lettuce within the roll. The tostadas were shredded chicken on re-fried beans, on a tortilla - topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese. The lettuce topping was a little excessive - could have had more focus on the chicken and beans. Like the guacamole, this was a little bland, but very good.We had excellent service - our waiter was very attentive and worked to understand our preferences and provide the food accordingly. For Mexican food, we like Yaya's,
This is a unique setting where the primary business appears to be a commercial tortilla factory but there's a small restaurant and tamale shop in the same building. Although I've never eaten in the restaurant itself, their tamales, even though they are frozen, are some of the best I've ever had. Simple to prepare, all I do is crumple some aluminum foil to keep then off the bottom of a pot, put some water in, cover it with a lid and steam them to perfection. One of those little known gems that you'd drive by a million times on Grand Avenue and never know what treat awaits inside.

This was our first time eating here. We sat in the bar section. Very nice and friendly waitress. We ordered a wine and a beer. The wine glass was Dirty upon arrival, sent that back asked for a clean glass. The beer was flat. Returned the second beer for a blue moon which was terrible, flat and tasted like the keg was at the bottom. Gross! We ordered the south west soup and the bacon cheese quesadilla with chips. Awful, rubbery and cold. And a house salad with 2 cold tacos. The only part of this meal that was fresh and made today was the cut up cilantro on top of my soup. Everything else seemed pre-made days ago. The chips were stale!Awful just awful. No thanksWeâre really sorry to hear you had a bad experience at this Chiliâs, Heather. Weâll make sure to share this feedback with the restaurant so they can improve, and would also love to get in touch with you to earn your business again. Will you please give us a call at 1-800-983-4637 so our team can get in touch with you directly? Thanks!

This place is not what I expected. Opens around 10:30 a.m. so as can be expected, it is not a place to have breakfast at. Looked at menu and asked about Carne Asada or Steak taco and was told they didn't serve it. Come on! What Mexican Restaurant doesn't serve Carne Asada or Steak with Tacos? The options that I were interested in otherwise were ground beef or shredded beef. Knowing that this place didn't offer Carne or Steak I expected to get a very blah type taco. To my amazement I was as far off as possibly could be. The Soft Taco was rolled with meat cooked with peppers and I am going to guess onions in the middle and cheese on the top with lettuce and tomato on the side. A small plate, but otherwise was just what I was looking for to satisfy my hunger and again, surprisingly delicious. My wife had the Tostada (beef) with Rice and both were also very good she stated. The beans on the tostada were very authentic she mentioned and the rice was great. Again, it erased her hunger so it was filling for the size of plate received. So, this place is sort of a hidden Gem as it is in a walk way off of the Fry's Grocery Shopping Plaza. Food prices are a little high, but we still feel the value was there. Oh, and it is a small setting so larger gatherings need to probably contact in advance so they can set up and area for you as we witnessed with a group of 8 that came in. Phone number below is from their Facebook page so if it is not correct, I am sorry.

Abuelo's invites you to experience the incredible flavors of Mexico, combining homemade cooking with rich flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine.
The food is good and served hot. The food is mild, even their salsa. Service depends on the server you get, some are good, others aren't. A little pricey.

Service was good, portions were good value. Place was average cleanliness, meh decor, ample parking, and drive through. The chile relleno was undercooked and barely warm, but had plenty of cheese, with a meh red sauce, lettuce, and pico de gallo. The very large taco de cabeca was excellent, but was quite greasy. The carnitas burrito was average size and tasty, and the enchilada plate with rice and beans was average size, and also good.
