Very good Mexican food. We had a party of 8 and everyone loved the food, especially the tripas. Reasonably priced.

We are not used to Mexican food but to us the food we received at Los Camales was what we expected it to taste like. We went to this restaurant 2 times and each time had something different including tacos, enchiladas, fajitas. The portions are a good size and there is also rice and refried beans on the plates. We enjoyed our meals very much. Also the service is great. When we entered the restaurant we were asked if we needed an English speaking waitress. The waitress both times was on top of everything. We will be stopping here again.
I've loved Taco Zarape and have eaten at their Edinburg and McAllen locations. Their tacos are delicious and relatively authentic. I enjoy the usual relaxed atmosphere. And I can't finish this review without admitting to an addiction to their "Taco Pirata"!
Good bakery that has been there many years and withstood the test of time. Be sure tom go early since they do run out of donuts and Mexican sweet bread quick...
We have been eating here for years and have never once been disappointed. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options are plentiful, flavorful, and very fairly priced. The service is quick and always with a smile! They treat you like family here .

The buffet here is always a great idea when someone isn't sure what to order or when someone wants a little bit of everything! You can choose from corn or flour tortillas, bacon and egg, chorizo and potato, french toast or pancakes, etc. Great service as usual!
The Moonlight Cafe is a good place for Mexican cuisine. The food is good and not too pricey. The staff is friendly and quick to take your order. The service is prompt. The Tampiquena steak is very good, cooked to order. Our drinks were well served and refreshed as needed without having to prompt the wait staff. Music is pleasant and not too loud. Tables nicely spaced for conversation privacy. They do have adult beverages as displayed on the back shelves.

Cool building, pretty standard Mexican fare with nothing exceptional about the food. We didnât think the menu was very extensive but the food we chose was decent. I would eat here again.

I was visiting family in alamo, Texas just last month. My family recommended we get tamales from here. I absolutely loved the chicken and cheese. My son loved the beans and cheese! They were amazing. I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone finding a place to eat good tamales!!
