A pizza and Mexican restaurant on the lake in Detroit Lakes, MN.
On our first night in DL, we stopped in at Zorbas, for dinner. We enjoyed our time out on the patio. We started with an order of Macho Nachos, which tasted fresh and amazing! We also ordered a cheese pizza and the Zorbas special pizza. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere fun! We look forward to our next visit.

I found his last experience to not be as good as previous times. The food is decent and fairly priced. The drinks and happy hour isnât what it used to be and the margaritas I feel are overpriced for what you get. There used to be a salsa bar for your chips but there wasnât much of one this last time. It can get loud due to the high ceilings and open atmosphere (used to be an Italian restaurant) Iâd say still give it a try. The staff are nice.
This is the place to eat in Detroit Lakes MN. Great value for the money. More food than you can eat. It seems like everyone walks out with a doggy bag. Been here twice in my short period of time here. The staff are on the top of their game, very Mexican. For a great value and good Mexican food and atmosphere this is it.
At Taco John's®, we serve traditional Mexican food-with a twist. By fusing bold American flavors with south-of-the-border spice, we've defined our signature menu. From our trademark Potato Olés® and freshly prepared tacos to our infamous breakfast burrito
I have stopped here a couple of times now and most pleasantly surprised on the quality and taste of the food. I have just had the tacos and they have been very good, the beef filling substantial , and I go with the no cheese. Shells also are fresh tasting and crisp. And the selection of sauces at your selection has been a plus for me. Again flavors are varied and and clean and a neat area to fill your little cups with your choices. The beverage machine is close at hand and very simple to use, and the tastes there are full and good too. While not state of the art Mexican food, for a fast food operation, it is nice choice for a little variety and a most clean facility. For sure, worth a stop when in Detroit Lakes for a change of pace.Jim at Maplelag in Minnesota
