As seen on the Food Network with Guy Fieri, Gloria's Cafe has been serving authentic Mexican and Latin American cuisine since 1981. Our recently updated decor in the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles is cozy, with a rustic, relaxing Latin American flair.
I stopped in en route not knowing anything about this restaurant. It has a delightful Latino interior. Exceedingly clean. The server was very friendly, helpful and flexible. The food was fresh and tasty. I had Mexican carnitos tostada. Next time, I am going to try El Salvador fare.

Overpriced and food was 'sweet'...the sauces were sweet...especially the cheese enchilada and chile rellenos combo..the enchilada was hard...had to have come out of a huge tub for sure and then heated under the lamp...kept looking for the chile in the chile relleno...nope...did not find any...maybe a small small strip after I put my glasses on ... beer was cold and chilled...no problem there...tortilla soup and chips and salsa were fine... but when two combos and a beer costs 60 bucks.. you would think you are eating at some high end fancy place.....Nope... for all of us..it was One and Done...

Loqui was a great, fun Mexican place, that had a nice modern feel to it. I really enjoyed their dishes, multiple of which I sampled via family members. Their meat had nice sweet and salty flavors, and the rice was nice and soft. Overall a good, quick place to get some real Mexican food, if you donât want to resort to Taco Bell.

We had gone with another couple and ordered the Vegetarian tostada, Vegetarian burrito and cheese quesadilla. The place was crowded, but service was prompt and efficient. We liked the fact that we could get both green & red salsa, pico de gallo, cilantro, chilies etc. on the side. The lettuce on our tostada was fresh. Our food was delicious and the portions fairly large, but manageable. Would definitely visit again if we are in the area.
