Sometimes eateries deserve a second chance because it was obvious to me the poor quality of the food, or the crappy service was just a fluke, and I give them the benefit of the doubt. However, if after a second visit nothing has changed, I never go back. With my recent first visit to Javier's Tacos via the drive-thru, it was as good as it will ever get, which was lousy.Fish tacos. Everyone I know keeps trying to convince to order them. So I did at Javiers. Yukko!!! Not that they were "fish", but that the coating on the fish was so over-fried? it just about broke a tooth. More breading than fish for sure, and greasy at that. I also ordered 2 cheese enchiladas, and got chicken enchiladas. I will NOT recommend Javier's Tacos to anyone, ever.

This place has the crunchy chili rellenos I've been looking for for decades, when I had my first in Denver. They were perfect. Very clean, cheerful, art-filled, attentive service. Good strong drinks, too! I had a cactus margarita. Out of the way for us Portlanders, but I will find excuses to go back. Haven't found as good a Mexican place in Portland yet (living here since 1970's).

It's Taco Bell, so don't expect anything else. So what makes this one different. The Staff. They have been trained. They are friendly and will do what is necessary to make things right. The seating area is clean and there is never a rushed feeling. I like Taco Bell and this is one of the better ones. The food is always consistent and seemingly how it should be. Good choice is you are in West Hillsboro.
Usually my son brings me home burritos from here but this time we stopped to have a late lunch here . They treat you like your family and the food is just wonderful . I ordered the enchiladas which had the right amount of spices. I will for sure keep going back and take friends and family with me

This place is a favorite. I eat here a couple of times a month. The service is outstanding, and friendly. A great little âhole in the wallâ family friendly place to eat. The food is authentic, happy hour every day 3-6 which is not restricted to the cantina. And a super great little patio when itâs sunny.

Tried for first time today. Chili Verde Plate was delicious, some of the best in a 30 mile radius. Horchata was homemade and great. American Style enchiladas (one cheese, one chicken, one pork) were good, rice is great, beans are good. Prices fair.Downside is the place was not that busy and it was just after noon but it took nearly a half hour to get our order. Maybe help did not show up, not sure. May or may not return to find out if this was a one time thing. Food sure was good.

We have been eating at La Sierra since they opened in forest Grove. They do a great Asada, either chick or steak. The La Sierra Burrito is one of my go to's. Fantastic salsa!

This place came highly recommended by the people we visited. The staff were very friendly and seated us promptly. Get the mole burrito! It is HIGE, so be sure and bring your appetite. I thought the prices were reasonable too. Perfect location also in downtown Hillsboro.

I never write reviews on fast food restaurants, but I had such a good experience at this Taco Bell, I had to make an exception! Most Taco Bell's you go to, their burritos are usually not made properly. You bite into one end, and it's all rice. Then when you get to the other end, it's all sauce! So annoying. Then when you order Nachos you never know if you're going to get lots of toppings, or just a little. At this Taco Bell, I ordered a Beef Quesarito. It had all the ingredients evenly spread out throughout the Burrito. Perfect! I also had Triple Layer Nacho's, and they loaded them with beans and cheese sauce! And finally I had a Taco Supreme. Also made properly. The other thing I noticed is there appeared to be a lot of regulars here. Several people called out to the man behind the counter by name, and he greeted them by name! Very impressing for a fast food place.Someone is doing a good job managing this store. It's well run, and they are paying attention to the little details!

Upon entering the restaurant for a mid-week dinner, we were pleasantly greeted and seated right away. All the staff who helped us were friendly and efficient. One turn-off was dirty/greasy drink and dessert menus that were tucked against the wall and stay at each table. They are laminated so a frequent swipe with a bleach-water towel would keep them clean and sanitary. The meal menus were brought to the table as we were seated, and were just as clean as I'd expect - great!! The complimentary chips and salsa were a partial victory. The chips were cold and not super-crisp (lots of restaurants heat them = crispy chips) but the salsa was delicious. Our meals arrived quickly and the portions were generous. The flavor of the food was good, but not memorable. We'll probably go there again as it is really close to where we're staying and there is great value for your dollar. The highlight of the evening was how we were treated so graciously by each and every staff member.
