We had been planning to try these guys out since they opened. We're Chipotle regulars and were hoping to have another option on occasion. BUT...Our visit was after church on a Sunday, just after noon. When we first arrived, the tile part of the floor was greasy - like you couldn't hold your feet at shoulder-width apart without them sliding away from each other greasy. We waited in line for about 10 minutes working our way to the front of the line. During that time we were studying the menu to try to decide what we wanted. We didn't see any advertisement of "natural", "organic", or anything of the sort, leaving us to believe that were offering all conventional, GMO-produced, hormone-infused, pesticide-coated ingredients. When we got to the person asking for our order, we still couldn't see the board through the frosted glass, like they were intentionally hiding the food. We leaned over to the clear glass and saw why. The steak - which we typically order - was overcooked and dried out like it had been there for hours, and they hadn't even been open for hours. The chicken - normally worthy back-up - was the same. Nothing looked appetizing at all. So, we walked away to try to eat at Newk's which was another horrible experience you can read about...I rated low for all three categories, including service, because even though nobody was unfriendly toward us, keeping the floor clean is a service issue.

My wife and I had lunch here recently. This is their New location, they have moved into the space behind Taco Bell on Poplar. New location is bigger, much lighter in interior colors with more tables and even a private dining room for a small group- maybe 10-15.Same good cooks. I had the Chilaquiles or Mexican Lasagna. Large dish of flat noodles and big chunks of chicken. Could only finish half- took the rest to go. My wife had the chicken quesadilla. The platter it was served on was larger than normal plate- was actually a platter. She could only finish two pieces and we took those 6 remaining portions home for later. I also tried their strawberry lemonaide- was better than most, even received a complimentary refill.

My husband and I eat here all the time! The staff is always cordial and does excellent! The food (we always order Tacos de carne asada and Chimichanga's) is delicious and prepared fast! The white cheese dip is just perfect with the melt in your mouth, thin tortilla chips they serve! We love this place!!!

My wife and I ate here for lunch yesterday. I ordered their special- Burrito Jaliso and she ordered the Burrito Verde. Both arrived quickly and on plates that would burn your fingers. Both dishes were excellent. The sauce provided for my wife- the green chili sauce was shared by both of us. She could only eat one burrito and we took leftovers home for her lunch today. We both had shredded lettuce, a half slice of tomato and a large scoop of really good guacamole on top. Great meal!

We eat here at least once a week! Been coming here since 2012! Love it! Top shelf Margaritas are great and cheap! Get the Jumbo or a pitcher! I sometimes make a meal of just salsa, queso and chips and a jumbo Margarita!

I want to like this place. Their salsa is fabulous. Chips are fresh but a little thick for my taste. Portion size is great but not laid out well for eating. Tacos are overfilled and you cannot eat them as a taco. Too messy. It looks great on the plate but they are not tacos. Maybe wrap them like Street tacos? Also the shrimp are not deveined. Gross.

The food was pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant. I had a combo of a beef taco, chicken burrito, beef enchiladas, and had rice and beans for my sides. It tasted good but the taco was soggy on one side, so that kept it to 3 stars. The salsa was not too spicy, which my wife liked. The margaritas were very good. The service was okay but a little slow at times.
