My friend and I did lunch here after the Flying Pig Marathon and ate ourselves silly! It was so good! I had the chicken fajitas, served with rice and beans. We had chips, salsa and queso- it was all pretty fabulous and authentic! Staff was courteous and quick. Off the beaten path location, but worth it!

Authentic Mexican restaurants are more readily accessible these days. This is a fairly large establishment with friendly staff and delicious food. The portions are extremely generous. Specials are available for lunch and dinner. We had a burrito loco which is loaded with ingredients, shrimp and rice, and a chicken taco salad. We had an early supper, but we noticed dinner customers were beginning to fill the place as we were leaving. By the way, the beer is cold.

We found this great mexican food place while exploring Lawrenceburg, IN on a whim while vacationing in northern kentucky. Great service, great food, great guacamole. Very good value. We found it while checking out the playground / park down the street (the Arch street playground). This restaurant was so worth the dinner stop !!

Ate at the El Rancho Grande on Saturday night. There were 7 of us, so I was very surprised when we got seated right away, even at 6:00. It basically seemed like any other "chain" Mexican restaurant. They brought out a basket of chips and very watered-down salsa when we sat down. The menu contained the same tacos, enchiladas, burritos and fajitas with various meats just like other restaurants. The margaritas were pre-made (and not very strong). Then it took all of 8 minutes for our "hot" food to arrive after we ordered. The food was good, nothing special. Would I go back? Yes. Only because it is convenient and easy to get into.
