Playa Bonita & Beach Club is a seafood restaurant by the sea in the port of Chelem. It has a pool, lounge chairs, kayak rental, dressing rooms, exquisite dishes and first class facilities to spend a family stay.
We went with a group of friends and kids - and had a great time! The beach club is fabulous and the kids loved the pools and the ocean. The beach is small but is set up well. The waiters were very attentive and ensured we had what we needed. Food was excellent, beer was cold and both came quickly. Pool was clean. We will definitely be back.

I have visited this restaurant about 6 times, hoping that the next meal will be better than the previous, however have been disappointed each time. The only reason why I go to this restaurant is because of the Music bands upstairs and various expat activities. Now, when I visit this establishment, it is solely for the expat activities and music and I no longer order the food.Hi Ruth Hamilton, Thank you very much for take the time to write this, we will review our operational staff about your lunch or dinner experience. But we notice that you don´t give us any detail about whats wrong with our food. We have more than a 80 items on our menu and features an extensive range of all time favourites wich perfectly complements your preferred brew. And because you are a business owner here in Mexico, next time you consider to come to the music please feel free to talk with me (Ruben Mexican Owner) and we will try to do our best for change your mind. Best regards!.
Large portionsã»Great foodOMG. Got take-out last night. The nachos were probably the best and most flavorable ever. I got the small - ha - not even close to small. It was enough for four. Cesar and Isabella are very cute kids. They were friendly and got my order ready quickly. I'll go back there often.
Breakfast here was good and plentiful. Service was good, but slow. It wasn't a problem because we were on Mexican time anyway. It was inexpensive; definitely worth the price. We watched the lady behind the counter squeeze our orange juice into large glasses. The ambiance is pretty typical. Next time we're in Chelem we'll go there again. We own a house there so we WILL go back. It is one of the few places in Chelem where you can get breakfast.

We were visiting a friend in Chelan and he took us to lunch here. It was great, simple food. We all had some form of Shrimp and all was really good!

Just completing a long term stay in Chelem. Was delighted to find a wonderful new addition to the breakfast and lunch options in Chelem. Itâs interior and exterior and bright and cheerful. The food options are plentiful. Carol (owner) is friendly and cheerful. Fruit was fresh with a mint leaf garnish from their herb garden. Breakfast was divine! Everything was hot and fresh.Thank you, Hope you soon return.

A charming little restaurant in the heart of Chelem! A nice menu selection for breakfast and lunch. The watermelon juice drink is healthy and refreshing, we always order it! This is probably the cleanest restaurant we have ever been to in Mexico. A very pleasant place to relax and watch the world go by...l

El Bullpen is a wonderful restaurant run by Martin and Jill, who also help the community by hosting various events. They have an extensive menu, which includes fresh seafood but also chicken and beef options. My husband and I have tried most of the menu and although we have favorites we've never had a meal that wasn't delicious. Where the kitchen shines is in their daily specials, most notably their Friday night lobster tail (unfortunately we were so thrilled with our meal I only took a photo after eating most of it!) Our friends who've visited Chelem always ask when are we heading to Bullpen? Drinks and live music on some nights only add to our enjoyment when visiting El Bullpen.

We absolutely love this restaurant. Best fish tacos and taco salad around. Love the owners, Trevor and Belinda. Itâs a must.
