Generally I am not a Taco Bell fan. I prefer Chipotle or QDOBA, or even Taco Time, But I was starving, and I found this one, and the rest is history. I was pleased by the number of vegetarian options, selecting the 7 layer burrito and the black bean burrito and, of course, an apple empanada. All in all, not a bad meal. At a great price, with courteous service. Really hit the spot.

Colorado chili burrito was quite good. It does not come with any sides. A side of rice was $2.55 and was barely 3 tablespoons of rice. It was dry and bland and crispy in spots. Not very good.

El Korita

We were in Castle Rock for two months clearing out a relative's estate when we found this wonderful restaurant next to the library. We ate in El Korita three times and decided to eat there the day before we left for home. It is authentically prepared and served by friendly people in a quaint, simple atmosphere. Tortillas and salsa are made on the premises. A small store selling Mexican spices, tortillas, sodas, and other foods is located to the right of the entrance. We would like the owners to move up to Washington State and open a restaurant in our neighborhood. We missed saying goodbye to Elizabeth on our last visit. We really appreciated her excellent service and sunny smile.

My wife and I enjoy going to Carlos Miguel's in the summer and sitting on their patio, which overlooks much of Castle Rock. After several visits we've settled on sharing fajitas & ordering margaritas. I only say that because most other things we've ordered, we simply haven't been overly impressed with. Their food is decent and edible but when I'm paying for food I would prefer to pay for something that I can't make myself at home. That said, it's a good convenient local spot. Thanks for your feedback, we are currently in the process of a menu change. We hope you stop by soon and try one of our new dishes!

Stopped in for a late breakfast on a Saturday morning. The location was convenient, leaving downtown Castle Rock headed back to I-25. Parking was a bit tight, but sufficient.Service was very friendly, patient and helpful. The menu has limited Breakfast items, but overall has a number of choices, including a Kids Menu. Orders are placed at the main counter rather than table service, but the food is delivered to the table. Food delivery was fast and efficient. Portions were large. I had the Egg, Sausage & Potato Burrito (smothered) with a side of Refried Beans. My meal was very good. The Salsa was very good, and I believe made in-house. My niece was very happy with her Bean & Cheese Burrito. Unfortunately, the Shredded Beef in the Tacos my sister ordered was just too salty. She had to add some beans to try and cut it. I tried the Beef myself and agreed it was too salty. That was the only negative about our visit.Total cost for all 3 of us was only $28, which is very affordable for a meal for 3. We were happy with the service, but the saltiness of the Shredded Beef was enough to limit the rating to 3 stars. I'm hoping this was just a rare occasion and that the quality of the food any other time matches the quality I enjoyed today. I will return in the future, based on my food and the quality of service.

En route from Colorado Springs to Denver, we stopped for dinner in Castle Rock. There are a number of great choices, but we were thrilled with our visit to Angie's.First, Angie's is popular with locals. Once seated, we could overhear a couple of conversations. Angie's has been around a while and many of the people there were regulars, known to each other and also to the staff. We love trying local flavors, and Angie's did not disappoint.Second, Angie's has an interesting menu. It offers both Italian and Mexican cuisine, even though the owners are Irish! There is an enjoyable explanation for this odd choice on the printed menu. Read it and give the brave owners plenty of praise for doing what they love! I had an enchilada combination plate, my husband had an Italian combination plate. We totally loved it and could never have done this in any other restaurant!Third, the decor in Angie's is both interesting and unusual. It boasts a collection of vintage radios (look up) and old doors. The doors actually make up the paneling in the restaurant, complete with door numbers. We did not inquire, but there is (or was) an old hotel on the block. Could the doors have come from the hotel? From another local business? Although installed as paneling, I wanted to knock on the doors and try to peek behind them to see what surprises were hiding there. The doors and radios create a homey atmosphere, are definitely unique, and certainly stimulated our dinner conversation. If I ever have a chance to return. I'll definitely ask about them.Drinks are served with plastic straws. I support straws for any customer who requests them, but would like to see straws used less frequently in order to reduce plastic waste. Booths are comfortable. The wait staff is young but completely competent and very friendly. We received helpful, courteous, prompt service. My only regret is that we were too full to order dessert. The dessert case had homemade cannoli, a rare treat! Also, on offer were apple streudel, sopapillas, and tiramisu. Next time, we will take dessert with us.Be sure to give Angie's a try. The menu is one-of-a kind, the food is delicious, and the decor is intriguing. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and would highly recommend Angie's to others. Hope to be back soon!

Keep it simple stupid. We have been going to this restaurant for years now and I just keep realizing how good we have it there. Great food, large portions, excellent service and not-shy-on-the-booze drinks. Reasonably priced. Wife and I love Mexican food and are always up for trying new places. We always end up comparing to Guads and most places just don't measure up.
