Things to do in Burien
We were looking for Mexican food, and not a fast food chain. We stumbled on this small hole in the wall and were transported back to Mexico. The place is not fancy, it is clean and lightly decorated. The food is far from fancy, but it is some of the best I have had in the Seattle area. The employees are cheerful, English is definitely their second language, but they have no problem understanding you. Our waitress was quite impressed that we liked and ate the spicy food and wanted more. I highly recommend their food, it is NOT fast food.
This little gem got multiple five star ratings on Yelp, so we decided to give it a try. We've been back three times! Everything is cooked fresh to order. The carne asada was delicious. The wet burrito was meal enough for two. The fresh juices were to die for. Very reasonable and great taste!
Really amazing and yummy huevos rancheros. Authentic and delicious green chile. If you're feeling homesick and craving New Mexican food, don't pay for a plane ticket to Albuquerque. Just head to Burien. Better than the frontier and you're less likely to get shot or stabbed!
You can dine in, but we always get something to go...sometimes around 11:00 pm and the place is packed.
I am not very experienced with Peruvian Food (only had it a couple of times), but our waiter was really helpful explaining everything. Food was fresh and came out fast (probably because the place was nearly empty). Really enjoyed my meal and my friendâs meals as well. I will go back. They also have Mexican Food and it is a night club that gets a lot of people as I see it packed on weekend nights.

I was shocked at dinner time to find no line in the drive thru. The restaurant looks tidy from the outside.
Trying different Mexican restaurants in Burien and thought I would give this place a chance. Located in a "strip mall" .The interior really hasn't got a Mexican theme, just booths and tables. The chips and salsa were about average, with the salsa having a little heat. I ordered their signature "Casa Durango Burrito" and was disappointed. The flour tortilla wrapped around the Burrito tasted stale and the chicken and rice filling was barely warm and unseasoned. The red sauce served over the top was watery and bland. There are better places to eat for the same amount of money. Not going back anytime soon,
Where to eat Seafood food in Burien: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This must be the real deal because if you can't speak Spanish you are at a disadvantage. But the people are nice and food is down-home Mexican. Just look around and point to what everyone is eating. They got the real Mexican Cokes and Mexican soft drinks.

Lived in Burien for years and watch this restaurant grow from a tiny building to a local chain, well deserved success GOOD food GOOD service and you know what you will get at any location

Good fire roasted salsa and bean dip with the appetizer chips. The menu doesn't offer anything different or unique from most Mexican Restaurants. The option of Refried or Ranch beans was a little disappointing - the Rancho beans were watery and had very little seasoning.About average pricing and quality make this a convenient place to eat, but don't expect authentic preparations or sauces on your food.
