Stopped here on our way to Houston from Dallas. Service was friendly and fast - typical Mexican fare---had stuffed avocado and chalupas and both were satisfying.

We've been coming here regularly for the last six months. Over this time we've noticed a real improvement in the level of customer service. We've had mostly different wait staff on most visits & all have been outstanding. Very attentive, friendly & helpful. Food very good as well. Best chile relleno in town in my opinion. Good food at fair price for what you get. Good margarita specials on Monday & Tuesday.

Really good Guacamole! If you just order that and chips, you'll fill up easily with a beer or 2. Good food for the most part. Have eaten dinner and lunch there several times and even had our high school reunion Saturday lunch there about 3 years ago (about 50 of us), and they took good care of us. No problems. Nice place to go if you are with friends. There is a small bar, too. Seats about 100 if full.

My wife and I visited Cilantro Mexican Grill in downtown Bryan for dinner. The service was very attentive and friendly and our food was delicious. On this visit, though, we noticed a departure by the staff of the music played over the sound system - it was too loud and frenetic and not conducive to a quiet dining experience. We hope this was an anomaly and that it will not be experienced on future visits.

Had a very nice lunch with my wife last week. I had the Chili Relleno and she had a chimichanga. Both meals were exceptional, as always. Our service was very good, and my margarita was superb! Often times when restaurants experience big changes, they go downhill. Even though Jose passed away, the business seems good as ever. To Raquel and the others there, great job! We will keep going back as long as possible.

Ummmm.... this place rocks. I love the quesadillas with the brisket. Literal the dream Mexican spot. What I love about this place is that it taste like Mexican street tacos. If you are close to the area, please go. I'm begging you at least check it out. If you are coming on Sundays though, it is closed. And also, don't park in the back. Park in the parking lot on the Main Street, not in the back. I can't say enough good things about this place. Please go as soon as you can. You won't regret it.

It was my go to place for TexMex - however, the last visit did not reach the mark - some thing was missing???? Maybe me, but salsa was not as good----I had the Casa Rod Special was just ordinary -- especially, the enchiladas. I will be back & hope it was just an off day.

They make 'em however you want 'em at Jessie's. The taco bar has SO many options. I'm a huge fan if the chorizo scrambled eggs and the chorizo potatoes - then load it with whatever you want!

Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuel
The mural paintings are just beautiful! Each tell a story and every Abuelos location is different The atmosphere was enjoyable and allowed us to visit with each other without having to talk loudly. The service was good, and water glasses filled often.Cheese fritters are always good. The queso has changed over the years, but itâs still yummy, better if you Add ground beef. The margarita/sangria swirl is a classic here at Abuelos. You can never go wrong with that one. The El Jefe is a newer margarita that comes in a shaker glass with a grilled orange. Really good margarita! They have an extensive array of margaritas and liquors to choose from. The Grande and Monterrey are great dishes for 2 to share or have left overs. They both sample some of the different items on the menu such as different enchiladas, tamales, tacos and chili relleno . The Colorado sauce is a favorite of mine for the enchiladas as itâs a rich non-meat sauce. Sides you can choose from Spanish rice, cilantro rice, retried beans, charro beans, espinaca (spinach casserole) or potato casserole (kinda like a baked potato)The menu offers other items such as many types of fajitas, stuffed chicken with chorizo, baked quesadillas, chimichanga, soups, salads, tenderloin steak medallions, tilapia as well as seafood enchiladas.Tres leches and margarita pie are both favorite desserts here!

What a pleasant surprise it was the find this place, Mad Taco. I think it instantly became one of our favorite taco places. Half the price of torchy's, with just as much, if not more, taste. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for the great review Businesstraveler3169, so glad you enjoyed your visit. See you next time!
