Had 2 salads, one with chicken, one with steak, (one to eat thee and one to go) Both were very good and fresh. The meat was tender and I could eliminate those items I didn't want included. Clean restaurant albeit fast food.

We live in Manassas and just tried this place for the first time at the recommendation of our daughter, who lives close by. The array of choices is dizzying but we followed our daughter's recommendation and were not disappointed: a Tasty Tuesday Pork Salad with House dressing. The set up is similar to Chipotle's but much better. Beware: this is a LOT of food - can easily be split between two people. And because it was the daily special it was value priced. Smart business - we're definitely coming back to try other specials.

The restaurant looks very nice and it is decorated in Mexican style. We had to wait a bit for the waitress to take our order, even though it was nor very full. The food came quickly and it was delicious.

While it doesn't look the best from the outside, it's worth your time to eat here. The staff is friendly and professional, food is plentiful and served hot, and the drinks are made to perfection and the selection is good for such a small place.I've spent a lot of time in Central and South America and Tipicos Los Reyes is one of the most authentic I've seen in the US. It's one I'll return to.I recommend this place for dinner.MikeTravel Thru My Eyes, Let's GO

Come in today! We have a broad array of all lunches, dinners, and desserts that we know will blow you away! Having the finest Tex-Mex in the area as well as service comes from truly caring about each and every persons experience that walks through our doo
Recently renovated, this restaurant offers spacious dining areas, a friendly wait-staff, authentic, home cooked Tex Mex cuisine with generous portions. My husband and I had never been to this restaurant despite living in Gainesville, VA nearly 16 years. Having a small storefront, we did not quite know what it was. We have tried many Tex Mex restaurants in the Northern Virginia area and this one is our favorite by far. El Tio is located in the Giant Food strip mall in the Virginia Gateway shopping center. Don't let the outside deceive you. It is a full-sized restaurant with large dining rooms and ample space between tables. The food is authentic, fresh and tasty, very much like the food we remember from living near San Antonio, Texas. The staff greet each guest as they arrive and wish you well as you leave. The service is attentive and prompt. The portions are generous and the price is mid-range.If you are looking for great Mexican Food and want that home-style flavor, try El Tio's. You will not be disappointed.

Our concept serves yummy, handcrafted tacos that are filled with fresh and local ingredients. Tacos come out when ready so order one or two, enjoy, and then order more! We also offer more than just tacos. It's always a fiesta with me in your life from 11:
Wow! This place offers tacos and then some! There is such a large variety from honey habanero to carne asada and from tempura shrimp to beer battered fish and chips. The most unusual offerings include lengua (beef tongue) and bison. They also offer a variety of appetizers and a bunch of beers on tap that change out frequently. Come here and you will be impressed, if for nothing more than their wonderful chips and salsa.
lad to see that there were people in the restaurant on a Friday night. The acoustics are terrible. There were two families with two small children each beyond us that liked to squeal very loudly. We were seated right by the drinks area. Felt like wait staff was constantly surrounding us. I am use to Texas Tex Mex food with consistency in my salsa. Don Chato's salsa was very thin with a few tomatoes cut up in it. Chips were stale and tasted like store bought thick chips. We each got enchiladas. I found mine to be bland and they were lukewarm. The beans (looked like black refried beans) were extremely salty. Margarita was good but pricy at 8.00 for on the rocks and husband like his local craft beer. Didn't see any type of happy hour. Dinner was $41 with one drink each. Sorry but can do better at El Tio or Hectors. The staff was very friendly and I hope they make it but this couple will get our Mexican food elsewhere.

We learned of Hector's through friends. The service is very personal and the food is very good and you are served very filling portions that will make you want to eat more. We have told all of our friends about Hector's and recommend eating here. The owner and staff treat everyone like family and the prices are spot on across the board. We eat there regularly. I tagged the prices as mid range because in my opinion it is not "cheap-eats". This is not a taco chain type food. This is freshly prepared homemade like food that is of the highest quality. Try the Queso with chips and definitely get desert, the fried ice cream and or cheese cake alone is worth the trip.
