Things to do in Bellflower
The food from the hard shell tacos, to the delicious Huarche is remarkable. It took us a long time to find a great taco place that is authentic and also priced reasonably. We have been coming here for several months and each time it has not disappoint us. The place is a whole in the wall but it is super delicious.
If you are looking for a place to get a either a quick eat in or take meal this place fits the bill. They have very good tacos and burritos and make for quick in and out for a good take home dinner.
A few tables; this is more take-out or FABULOUS catering!! A large menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A very friendly mom/pop/family establishment. A real hidden gem! They have daily specials---even liver and onions!! You will not be disappointed. They could have a large establishment; but they are happy and do well in their small atmosphere and catering.
This small Cuban/ Mexican restaurant serves up outstanding food at very reasonable prices. It's a mom & pop venture with class and welcome.

Bellflower Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Bellflower
One of those rare days it rains in California while visiting O'Reilly auto store to get new windscreen whippers, we spotted Don Chuy Mexican restaurant next door. Feeling a little peck- ish and as the car was already parked, we thought we would pop in for a quick bit to eat. The restaurant is small with about 5 booths, we must have been the first customers of the day for it was empty. But the service was fast and cheerful bringing us free chips and a nice spicy salsa along with our water and coffee. As it was a cold day it seemed the perfect time to have soup, so we ordered Pozole, which came in two massive bowls, along with a full complement of Oregano, chili flakes, onions, cilantro and lime. Both our bowls were full to the top with hominy and tons of meat, they were so large that we both took home half the order in to-go containers. The accompanying tortillas seemed to be handmade and were of a nice taste and texture. To top it all of I ordered a really nice coconut flavored flan for desert. Will defiantly be coming back.TIP: Ask for the special of the day before ordering.
Where to eat Bar food in Bellflower: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The owner has hit on a great mix of traditional foods and recipes, couple with modern takes on Mexican influenced drinks. They have a selection of mexican craft beers on tap as well. Happy hours are well priced, and drinks are actually as pretty to look at as to drink. The tacos are street taco style, with meats from chicharron, barbacoa, carnitas, and even roasted cauliflower! Entrees come from the same selection of meats, plus other items as well. Very well done, and you are surrounded by great movie posters of Mexican actors, all with a half-face done in a skull painting. Very clever art work!

The food was very good and there was a large selection, which will make everyone happy. The chicken was very good and I had a rice/chicken bowl and there was a good variety of veggies too. I would go there again!

I don't know why I didn't think to review Enrique's sooner. I've been going here for years, and it is one of my top two local Mexican restaurants. Although some reviewers like the other Long Beach location on PCH, the Enrique's off the 91 freeway is my number one choice. I like it because the booths have very high backs, so it feels private. The food is always hot, fresh, delicious, and consistently authentic. The servers are friendly. When you first sit down, you will be served the best chips and salsa - and everyone gets their own little bowl of salsa! No worries about double dipping. I highly recommend the posole. It comes with all of the toppings, and it is perfect anytime but especially a cool or rainy day. Other favorites include the mushroom quesadilla, which defies description, and the potato taquito - too delicious! I also love the ensalada revuelta, which is crisp and fresh with cucumbers, red peppers, and a tasty pepita dressing. Finally, leave room for dessert. The plantains with caramel and ice cream is over the top. And, they have amazing cheesecake and flan as well. Clean restrooms. Wheelchair accessible. Good for large parties. Kid friendly.

Fantastic burrito lunch. My buddy is a mexican dude and he told me to check this out. Carnitas burrito was fantastic!!! A real deal torpedo to the gut after, and very good flavour. Must try. Friendly people, $10 lunch, good flavour.
