First established in 1917 as a summer resort destination, Bella Vista has evolved and redesigned itself over the succeeding years. Bella Vista became a retirement community in 1965, and, after much contention and a 2006 vote of its property owners, became an incorporated city. Following its official incorporation on January 1, 2007, the new city government took over the police department, fire department, streets, trash removal and other city functions, while the Property Owners Association (POA) retained control of the many amenities available to homeowners and their guests. Amenities include numerous parks, clubhouses with workout areas, swimming pools, seven golf courses, seven lakes with fishing and boat docks, a marina, swimming beach, putt putt golf courses and tennis courts, and extensive hiking and biking trails throughout its beautiful Ozark hills.

This was one of the better Mexican restaurants that my wife and I have dined at since moving to NW Arkansas. However, it wasn't the true Tex-Mex like we would get in Houston or Dallas. The overall service level was very good, along with the atmosphere.

We come here often. Highly recommend the chicken Milanesa if they have it. (They donât always) Chips and guacamole are a must. They have the best chips! Also, the torta. Great atmosphere. The staff is always super friendly and if the chef is around he is always checking on the customers.

Chose a booth to sit which is our preference here and improves the overall experience for us. For starters two had the cheap dates which they enjoy when here and I had the Tuna and Salmon ceviche. Not the best I've had but perfectly acceptable. Fajitas and Enchiladas for mains were all enjoyed and they do very good margaritas as well.Always enjoy it here when in town and we know what to expect, just an informal dining experience with decent food and ok staff.

Brought our grand kids for a quick meal before a movie and it has been anything but that. Other people complaint in the dining room about slow service. Real slow. Cashier was exceptional apologetic and very kind made it feel a little better.

This place is an amazing off the path place to eat near Macadoodles. Dont let the location distract you or make you think less of this place. Outstanding service with a smile, quality food, and excellent price. From the the first moment until the last, I was very pleased. Highly recommended!

12 us make the journey to Bella Vista annually for three days of intense golf and commeraderie. For the past six years, Thursday night is Mexican good night and this is the place. Good food and margaritas at a very good price. They really take care of the group.

My party went to El Pueblito for a light lunch while sightseeing. We enjoyed chicken enchiladas with cheese(2 each). My companion sis the ordering and due to a slight language barrier (the order was for one enchilada each) we got two (2) enchiladas each. They were delicious and filling (for a light repaste) but were worth the mix-up.

Weâre visiting in Bella Vista & while looking for somewhere to have dinner, Stumbled upon this place. Starting with the fresh salsa & warm chips we were impressed. I ordered the Nachos with Chicken & was amazed. There had to have been nearly 2 pounds of very tasty shredded chicken on the top with sautéed onions green & red peppers & yummy melted cheese. I took home over 3/4 of the platter & plan use that yummy chicken in enchiladas. Everyone else raved about their choices. The service was great & staff was very pleasant & accommodating. We will definitely be back during our stay here. I highly recommend el Pueblito!!!
