Things to do in Bear
The Red Burrito is located inside the Hardee's. They do have a limited menu with burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, etc. We have been on a couple of occasions now. We have had the hard beef taco and the chicken quesadilla so far. They were both very good. Quality seems better than the other well known fast food Mexican restaurant. Beef taco was delicious and not too skimpy. The chicken quesadilla had good flavor, but was a little skimpy on the chicken. I would definitely order from here again. Food is good, service pretty fast and friendly.

Second time we went here. Food was typical taco bell but the clientel and building need help. Female bathroom was locked the first time we went and it was locked this time too. real funny leaving key in bathroom. haha. the mens bathroom didnt lock so we got to watch an employee walk in on a customer. oops. there was also a meth/heroin spoon in mens room. grose times 1000000., but entertaining in a sick way. employees were nice though.
OK, so this is a hole-in-the-wall, hard-to-find take-out place with some sit-down tables and absolutely no ambiance. Who cares! I've been to Mexico many times and this food is on a par with the best. Freshly prepared and served by a very friendly wait staff. The chicken enchiladas with mole was exceptional-one of the best moles I've had. Also great chile rellenos. I went in for a quick dinner and came out full and wanting to come back for more. I only gave it 4 stars because of the lack of ambiance but the food is solid 5 star!

I had heard about Border Cafe and we finally went for my daughterâs birthday. She and her husband bragged about Joseâs Rice. I was expecting something very unique. I didnât think it was that special, really, and I wouldnât order it again. However, the food was hot and reliable. I ordered enchiladas and they were your typical fare. There were also different menu items such as Crawfish Etouffee. It was the first time I had tried them, as I was always turned off. They were quite good. I donât think youâd go wrong here. Iâd like to go back soon because I loved the atmosphere and the staff. Both added to the relaxed, fun feeling we had on our last visit.

Rivera Taco moves about 100 yards east of the picture in this review. They are a food truck but partnered with the laundromat down the road to share their parking lot. There isn't much to it but their food is good, quick and cheap. 3 tacos and a soda for 8 dollars and your tacos are overflowing with meat. Lengua, el pastor and bistec tacos are greats.

As you are greeted with the customary line, "Welcome to Moe's!", this location offers a consistent "Moe's" experience with others in the chain. Choose your entree and then add the toppings as you go down the line. Free chips included with every entree, unlike some other similar chains (Chipotle, Qdoba, Baja Fresh)Always fresh quality and lots of choices. Moe's offers usual chicken, steak, pork protein sources, but also has a seasoned tofu option that is helpful for those looking to avoid meat products. Coke Freestyle machine for beverages with a Moe's exclusive "Moe-Rita" margarita-inspired nonalcoholic drink (limeade, lemonade, orange mixture) in regular and diet versions). Recommended for a break from ordinary fast food.

I can tell when a Mexican restaurant is worth it's salt - it's when you see Hispanic families there. Everyone from Grandmom to the babies. And on Friday nights, when the live Mariachi band is there, they are laughing and singing and swaying to their cherished memories. If you have been once, and have somewhat of a memorable face and a big smile, they will treat you like family every time you go back. Mario, the manager is usually whizzing by us with plates of hot food as the waitstaff hustles to take care of the customers. The whole place works in unison. Just look over at the bussers and smile - they remember you. The greeter, she remembers you. And everyone seems to have their favorite waiter, or waitress, or a few . . and you get a big hug before you go. My wife gets the same thing, Chorizo well done and rice, every time. I order something different, every time. They have a great Mocahete. I had not had one since a very small Tex-Mex restaurant at the Oklahoma-Texas border. It is big enough for two, but one of our favorite waiters tells us he can eat one himself. We then all joke about his hollow leg.The food is substantial. It's not too spicy, not bland. It's family classics. Mario travels with his wife every year to his homeland to ensure that. And on Friday nights they have a live Mariachi band that have great voices, warm personalities, and are pretty good showmen. It's a great place to have a birthday celebration, ot get a pretty cool selfie with a big guitar behind you.
