I grew up on this place. Not the healthiest but great chips and salsa! The tex mex is okay but the pizza for me is the best. Thin, cracker type crust...add a little salsa. The nachos are pretty darn good too. Remember, this is a greasy spoon for sure.
Okay... the sign outside says "get hooked on our fish tacos". So I pull in to try them. I go inside and tell the girl up front, that I love fish tacos, and am anxious to try theirs. I order two. She replies "it takes 30 minutes to make fish tacos". I thought I must have misunderstood her. So, I ask her to repeat it. "It takes thirty minutes to make fish tacos". Really??? I can get a steak dinner faster than that, at a non-fastfood restaurant. No thank you. Ha!

I have written before on this place and went recently and ordered something I usually do not order, SOUP. I was surprised by the taste and freshness of the soup and it provided me another opportunity to provide positive feedback on one of my favorite places to eat in town.

A quick TA search for quick Mexican food in Altus, OK brought this place to our attention. Very quick service and good food. Not a fancy place but looked clean.

I ate here for dinner while visiting family. Prior to being seated I inquired about vegetarian options. I was told that the Refried beans had lard in them, the ranchero beans were made with bacon, and the rice had chicken broth. So that eliminated sides from my dinner options. I did see fajitas but no vegetable option was on the menu, so I asked if they could leave out the meat and give me extra veggies from the Texas fajitas. They did accommodate my request and the veggies were cooked nicely, with little to no butter, which I was happy about. The thing I did really like about the meal, was the chips and salsa. They had 3 options for spice level of salsa and were nice enough to bring a bowl of each to our table. I really enjoyed all three. I dipped my veggies into the salsas. I would like to see this place have less meat products in foods that don't really need them, and would like for them to add more veggie options. Such as a veggie burrito or quesadilla. I'm not sure that I would eat here again, but only because of my very limited options.

Happened to find this on TripAdvisor while training at the Air Force Base. Amazing breakfast at great prices. Love the selection of both standard American classics as well as delicious Mexican choices (Huevos Rancheros, Chile Verde, Chilaquiles). The green spicy salsa is amazing!! Eat here for breakfast. You will not be disappointed.

Not only was our food great, the service here, during our visit, was extraordinary! We were greeted happily at the door with an energetic employee. Our server was great...when I asked if bartender knew how to make a Cadillac Margarita, she said she will ask, and if the bartender didn't know, they would find out how to make one. The bartender made one and personally brought it to me with a big smile. Everyone in the restaurant looked happy and was having a great time!
