We had lunch today and I am on a diabetic diet. Surprisingly, Mangoes had a new menu on "the lighter side" directly applicable to special diets. We had two of the "lettuce wrap " items...the chicken and the grilled fish wraps. They came with a choice of soup...today lentil or chicken. Both soups had excellent flavor and consistency, a treat in their own right Both of the "wraps" were outstanding, though, not technically a wrap, as they came on a single leaf of romaine lettuce not large enough to wrap. All the ingredients were fresh and proportional, giving a super fresh taste to each wrap. The chicken and fish were flavorful and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were perfect for someone conscious of the calories...and no carbs (no rice or beans). Service was attentive and prices reasonable. Mangoes is now on our list of "go to" places for those of us on restricted diets. We loved it and will be back soon.

We were here for quick lunch over the summer; the place had recently opened, so didn't have a liquor license yet...but, we had decent tex-mex style food....and we had on the back porch, which, opening up to the beach and lake, was absolutely incredible and beautiful. This is definitely a place to not miss if you're able to grab a seat on the back patio.

I never thought I would spend the time writing a review for T. Bell when their are a billion restaurants that trumps this franchise. It's funny how people continue to call it "Mexican food" of course it's not but that does not change the fact that it's inexpensive, tasty and they serve your food at lightening speed. Being honest....I still crave the place once in a while. A candy bar is not much healthier I prefer T.B as my unhealthy pick. The staff at this Alpena location is the reason I felt compelled to write my review. They are by far the most attentive T.B. staff I have ever experienced in my life. I was impressed!
