Fast food not so fast and the restaurant was such a mess inside I really wanted to just eat and run. The food seemed to lack the taco toast I was used too. No cheese taste either. Maybe you cut back on your regular sellers to boost the commercial sellers but us normal people stick to what taste good to us and what's been on the menu for years. Please make the meat have flavor again and the cheese at least look orange.

I recently had a working lunch at this fantastic Mexican restaurant in the Heritage Mall food court. I had chicken tacos and they were phenomenal. Normally I go for more sauce and cheese but since I was with a client I decided to tone it down and not make a mess. These tacos are PACKED with flavor! I will be back again to try their authentic gorditos and other delicious things on their menu. The tacos came with tortilla chips - they were reasonably good but not as exciting. The salsa was excellent but note they don't really have a mild salsa (they do offer at least two different types of salsa though). I believe the tacos were $2 each - but they do have some items that go up to around $9.The people working in there are very friendly. And the food court is relatively quiet but it was a workday. They are slowly filling in a lot of vacant spaces in this mall with exciting tenants so hopefully they won't be quiet for too long - I want them to stay in business!Note: Indoor play area at edge of food court.

Great dinner! Got take-out chimichanga, beans and rice. The best Mexican food I have had in years. Would definitely go back - wish there were closer to me.

Quality Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices! I've been here a few times and have been pleased with their food and service. I one time had a less than impressive experience, but that employee doesn't work there anymore.

Food was good. Decent price. Chips and salsa free. Salsa had a nice fresh flavor. Myself and another had tacos ( chicken & pork) while the third person had a burrito. The burrito was huge everything was good. Definitely didn't leave hungry.

The starters... chips, salsa & retried beans. Those warm, fresh chips curled my toes!!! So good. The salsa is pretty spicy, but I loved it WITH the side of guacamole we ordered. The retried beans were gone before I could blink. Hereâs what I loved the most about this place. Their red sauce over my burrito and my granddaughterâs enchilada was PERFECT! It wasnât in your face. It simply complimented the dish. They didnât have my fav frozen marg with sangria swirled in it on the menu, but guess what?... he made it happen and it was very good. Maybe theyâll google the âpresentationâ and add that to the menu soon [wink]

I fancy myself a taco aficionado and appreciate a place that presents me with a variety. Lengua, tripas, cabeza, asada, el pastor - these are some of their offerings. This is my favorite place to eat tacos in Albany because they have a great salsa bar with a white hot salsa that can't be beat. Lime, radishes, avocado are also on the bar. They have a large crock pot filled with sauteed onions and peppers. Nothing fancy - just great tacos. Los Compadres may be their only competitor but their condiment bar needs work.

I was always taught you can tell the quality of the Mexican restaurant by their chips and salsa. Rarely do they have great chips and salsa. This place has great chips and salsa! There is not a dish on the menu that isnât fantastic. I was raised on Mexican food my entire life and I have been eating here at least twice a year for 18 years and I have never had a bad meal. Alex was my waiter today and it was like having your best friend wait on you. You can sometimes loose track on who truly is waiting on you because they all chip in to make sure your satisfied. Come in and see for yourself that There is total attention to detail here. You will not find a better Mexican restaurant north of East LA California.
