Great food and service.Tables are big and not close one to another giving you the space and privacy you need. Food? Fantastic : Great meat. Pizza also very good. And the Dear filled Ravioli al Mirtilli are just incredible.Price is also very good for this quality.Up to today this is my favourite restaurant in Cavalese. Just try it! Also great with kids.

Another excellent dinner at this temple of the Val di Fassa gastronomy. Some of the creations by Paolo Donei in my opinion stand comparison with those of more famous multistarred chefs. The signature dish egg in polenta crust with truffle, cream of cheese and spinach, for example, behind its apparent simplicity hides much preparation work, uses great produce, and it embraces you with a memorable subtlety of flavours and textures.A primo of spatzle with herbs, girolles and a speck infusion summarises what this cuisine is about: strong, traditional flavours elevated to delicacies of high refinement and elegance. Two mains, a venison and a duck, both had at their core a fantastic, chunky, tender and perfectly cooked piece of meat, with clever and tasty garnishes around them: the braised red chicory giving moisture to the duck, with almond and smoked oil flavours; and the Jerusalem artichokes (coming in different ways) with a Pinot nero reduction. My only small reservation is just a tendency to saltiness, but this is personal taste. You can't skip desserts at Malga panna: a parfait was just good, but a 'cappuccino ice cream' with liquorice and milk was fun, creative, beautiful, deliciously balanced, hovering between the bitterness of the liquorice and the sweetness of the rest. You get so much more during a meal here, amuse bouche, breads, pre-dessert and petit fours. The prices are very, very fair such abundance and quality. The wine lover will also find satisfaction, gently guided by the always informative maitre Michele and the rest of his team. And the setting...well, that is magical (a little upholstering of all the benches would make it even more comfortable).I only manage to visit the Malga once a year, but every time I'm looking forward to returning.
Prezzi giusti.

Bar Löze is a hidden gem on the outskirt of Predazzo. Angela and her husband are wonderful hosts and together they run this place with extreme love and care. Don't be fooled by the name "Bar", actually Bar Löze is more a restaurant but can also serve as a bar throughout the day, ideal for a coffee, a healthy snack or a drink. The real deal though is the lunch or dinner time. I suggest to call to reserve or simply pass by to check on the menu too. Depending on party size it is possible to arrange any type of cuisine but for me Seafood here is king. Ask for "Spaghetti alle vongole" or "Branzino al sale" and you won't be disappointed, the great merge between local tradition and Sardinia cuisine is surely there to please your palate.

Grazie

We arrived at the restaurant following a recommendation we read about. The restaurant is located in the town of Tesero, very close to where we slept, in Cavalese. Access to the restaurant is very convenient, with a large parking lot, just outside the restaurant. The restaurant is very pleasant, large and comfortable for sitting. On the first evening we shared some pasta and some pizzas. The pastas were excellent, but the pizzas, we all agreed that this was a special kind of pizza. The dough was thin and tasty, with a pizza sauce that was really a delicacy. The cheese on the pizza was delicious too. All the extras we ate on the pizzas were excellent, and there was a great variety of extras we did not have time to taste. Without a doubt, the best pizza we ate in Italy, and in general. The owner was nice and friendly, and even poured us an excellent grappa. That's how pizza is made, and that's how it hosts! On the second evening in the area, after a raging and amazing rafting, there was no doubt that we were returning to Ancora for another tasty and satisfying meal. highly recommend. A five-star restaurant.

My son-in-law reckons this place makes the best Italian pizzas in the world, but I must admit he hasn't tried them all. Still, there is no doubt that the pizzas are excellent. There is a warm welcome on arriving from the couple who run it, though you may have to wait at busy times. The surroundings, in a vaulted cellar, are decorated with some nice touches, like old wooden skis on the wall and alpine cows painted on the oven. The premises are warm when it is cold outside, heated by the wood burning pizza oven. What really distinguishes L'Incontro, though, is the range of (only) pizzas on the menu, offerring a much wider range of ingredients than in many other establishments, as well as white pizzas and topped foccaccia filled with melted cheese. And these are skilfully prepared, uniformly cooked to just the right thickness and crispiness.Prices are reasonable, lower than in some more touristy parts of Italy. Closed on Tuesdays and at some other times, so best to phone if you are travelling any distance to eat there.

Ambiente molto gradevole e servizio professionale.
