The Time restaurant, located at the gates of Rome, between the Cathedral and Antro delle Sorti, iconic, classic, italian restaurant, reflects the tastes of local tradition in a modern, refined, elegant but simple environment. A cyclopic walled garden, giv

Empty restaurant except obvious famil/friends of owners nursing babies at the best table in the house, surrounded by non-restaurant paraphanalia, playing on their phones. There were also about 5 people behind the bar wearing sweatpants and hoodies who leisurely make where I come to dine feel like a lounge where they scratch their balls and make loud jokes accross the "restaurant". Waitress didn't smile once, looked puzzled at me when I said " table for one". Water is overpriced. Carbonara was salty orange cheese on pasta. Calzone was 80% flavourless bread, 20% extremely salty cheese. Also there is a 1.5 euro surcharge for service. Portions weren't large. Dining experience 1/10, service 2/10, food 4/10.

Già stato in questo ristorante degustando un ottima cena a base di pesce, attratto dalle nuove proposte di menù ricevute via WhatsApp sono tornato con compagna e amici. Ambiente e atmosfera come sempre molto piacevole. Cortesia e professionalità del personale (massimo) impeccabile. Un buon antipasto e una tagliata veramente eccezionale. A presto!

The service was fantastic, the only way I'd rate it higher was if he gave me the meal for free. They seem like an honest group of youngsters who run the place. The food was mediocre, 7 Euros for a double cheeseburger which is extremely awkward to eat (I HATE that), 3 Euros for 8 onion rings from a packet and the chicken wings were nice but also a but too expensive for their worth. The water wat the fairest price I've seen in Italy, at 1.5 Euros for 1.5 litres. If the portions were bigger or the prices lower I would give a better rating. I also got the shitz the next day and apart from cereal the burger here is all I ate that day, so it's likely the burger was undercooked (and my initial impression when I cut the burger was exactly that).Whole meal in the photo, 16 Euros.Hi allantheboss !! If you don't know "scottona" hamburger go to McDonald's to eat and spend as you like it! Bye bye

The service at this restaurant was apalling. Because we were english we were treated like second class citizens. We wanted a table with a view and were eventually given this but when we requested it - after we were sat on cheap plastic seats on the lower floor of the restaurant, we could clearly hear a waitress saying in italian, don't give it to them to waiter who decided in the end after we explained that it was our friends birthday that day, that we could sit on the balcony. This waitress wasn't happy that he had undermined her though. Not a great start but we thought the food would make up for it. We were wrong....As well as the service being poor, the food wasn't great at all. I had chicken, which was the worst meal I have had in a long time. .In short I would avoid this restaurant and go to one in San Careso which isn't far. We found some really nice places to eat there during our two weeks in Italy. I feel quite strongly about how poor the service and food was that I had to write this review. I have also been nagged by my family to put this up as they were apalled at how bad this was compared to everywhere else we ate.I hope this helps you during your trip and saves you a few quid as it was very expensive.Best wishesSharon

You get to choose 2 main dishes and one side dish, plus coffee for 15 EUR. Very tasty, do not miss out on the starter (antipasti)

cucina italiana,piatti romani,ottima carne,pesce fresco e pizza alla romana,ambiente familiare.Qualità al giusto prezzo
We found this place by accident while trying to get out of the tourist-centric Tivoli and find some places where the locals went to eat. The staff barely spoke English and the menu was only in Italian (always a good sign), but we managed to decipher it enough to order. The waitresses were very friendly, as was the boss.Pizza is only available in the evening, but it's unbelievable. We had a white Pizza Patate (Mozarella, potato, and Rosemary) on the recommendation of the waitress. I was pretty dubious as potatoes on a pizza sounds stodgy to me, but when it came it was glorious. For â¬6.50 you get a large, very thin and light pizza, with a wonderful mixture of flavours, easily the best pizza I have ever had. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, including my other half's pasta, which was also homemade and scrumptious. It was so good we went back the next day for lunch. If you take a 10 minute walk from Tivoli to this restaurant you will be well rewarded.
