College Hill Deli never disappoints! Not only is the food delicious, the atmosphere of the deli is cozy and comfortable. Ali, the owner, greets his guests when they walk through the door and makes everyone feel very much at home. I have never had anything that was not delicious. I love the way Ali grills my salmon because it is perfection every time! His daily specials are always mouth watering delicious and the soups are so tasty. I have never ordered anything that was wasn't delicious. If you've not dined at College Hill Deli, I encourage you to do so. Ali will greet you with a smile, make you feel at home, and serve you scrumptious and tasty food. You will not be disappointed.

I found the restaurant to be just average. I had the hummus and was expecting warm pita bread. The hummus was good and there was lots of it, it would have been better if the bread was warmed up. The gyro was not on par with most other Greek places. It was just ok. Service was ok as well. Not bad, but not fantastic. Maybe I should have had the Italian food?

There are more Mediterranean restaurants than you realize in Wichita. Amazing, but nonetheless, for those who love hummus and Shwarma, better for you! Is Cafe Maurice better than the rest? Not that as much as just another option for you to compare grape leaves and Fattoush. Portions are a bit smaller than competitors, but pricing remains about the same. I would say more geared for lunch as the atmosphere is a bit generic, but a casual dinner choice. My first choice is still N & J Bakery, but Cafe Maurice is a good second.

We sought this out on road trip out west, and were glad we drove the extra few miles off of the highway. It has so much seating, and was relatively empty when we dined around 2 p.m. We ordered 4 falafel and the hummus and baba ganoush--all were absolutely delicious. There are three types of baklava (for me it was a tad honey sweet), but I loved the you could get almond, pistachio, and walnut. A real winner! That falafel was so green and fresh!

Stopped here last Saturday for last lunch while hitting the shops of Bradley Fair in Wichita. Not having been here before, I was pleasantly surprised at the decor and expansive menu. Many choices from appetizers, soups, burgers, sandwiches and full-on entrees. There is something delicious for everyone and any appetite. Our table choices included Coconut Shrimp appetizers, hummus appetizer, as well as lentil soup and two very large salads. All was very good. The hummus was some of the best I have tried, as were the shrimp and the soup. Great service and server completed a very nice lunch on a cold dreary day.

I stopped by here for lunch before continuing on to Oklahoma. I have not eaten here before, and they had three locations. I was at this location for lunch. The place is clean, modern looking and included outdoor patio. One orders the food up front and then given a number and sit where ever you want. I opted for the bar, since it was a high top seating. The drinks ordered (I had water) was poured at the bar area. I have to admit, it looks like a full bar, with fresh ingredients (rosemary, mint, basil, fresh fruit, even a place to add "smoke" to a cocktail. If I was staying in Wichita over night, I might have tried their cocktail menu. I order the falafel bowl, under $10. Bowl is a misnomer, it came on a platter and it was huge. I could have split this with another person. The dish came with my choice of salad, I went with Tabbouleh, hot side of eggplant, hummus and both traditional pita and crunchy pita. Interesting that the dish came with fork and spoon but not a knife. I mention this because the eggplant pieces were large and could have used to one to cut it. It was soft enough to use the fork to cut it, but a knife would have been appreciated. Otherwise, all the flavors were there and it was a good stop. Thanks for visiting us while traveling through, Carol! We enjoy providing our guests with delicious food and a wide variety of menu items to please everyone's taste buds. Loved this building from the 1930s, the architecture is lovely. We had an early reservation, cocktails delicious, we had the trio and a ceasar salad with chicken (ample portions!!!!!) wine and cocktail list is extensive, quick friendly service, would definitely eat here again. Highly recommend!
