This newly open Kabul Kabob House in Westbury on Post Ave is serving up great tasting kabobs with great prices. The food is very well made and fresh, fired up on their grill as you order. You can even see them make it right in the open grill kitchen in the front of the restaurant. Decor is quite warm and friendly as the owner walks around greeting his customers with loving attention. Lots of menu choices that would please everyone in your family/guests. I love to order a pot of Persian black tea $7.50 to share especially when the weather is so cold outside. They do have homemade Persian ice cream but I'll go that route when the weather warms up. Check out my pictures and you'll see the decor/menu and yummy entrees & appetizers. Great place, new place to have an adventure. Happy Eating and I'll see ya around the table!

Pleasant small restaurant. Friendly owners and servers. We had their mixed appetizers consisting of eggplant and the best hummus we have ever tasted. Theirfesh "bread" was outstanding. The lamb shank was excellent. Service was very responsive and pleasant. Worth a return visit.

Located in the shopping center where uncle Giuseppeâs is located, this little neighborhood gem is tucked away and can be easily missed. The staff is friendly and accommodating (much more than the Merrick location). The pita basket is generous with a minty tahini sauce. Itâs filled again upon request.Hummus is fresh, the Sambuseh are a delectable treat, crispy dumplings filled with chick pea mash. Even the dolmen, stuffed grape leaves, were tender and not stringy or tough. The salmon shish kebob is garlicky and moist. The brown rice is addicting. More than I can ever finish. Last visit my husband ordered the lamb kebob and was not disappointed, a little over cooked but still tender and flavorful. The Persian tea is spicy and aromatic. Skip the desserts, they need an upgrade, especially the baklava that is too dry.

Itâs nice place with table clothes and attentive staff. When we were seated they brought out pita bread w/ yogurt. Food came fairly quickly. We had a different dishes: like lamb kebab, shrimp kebab, chicken kebab and lamb chops. Everyththig comes with side of rice. They ask - white or brown? The brown rice is not regular brown rice, it is the same as white but with soy sauce all over it. Lamb kebab was tough. Shrimp was okay. Chicken was okay. Lamb chops were the most expensive $28, just okay. For us it was, okay we tried this place, was okay, not impressed, next time will something other place. P.S. Samarkand place in queens is really good.

So disappointed! Our first visit to the Westbury location was when my family and I was invited here by my cousin in 2018. When we were seated, the chef came over to our table and I realized my cousin knew the chef. The chef recommended some items and we ordered some items. All was absolutely delicious! In January, we returned, for lunch, thinking we would have the same level of quality and service. My wife and I had the BBQ Pork and my son, the Spuntino Burger, along with other items. WE WERE NOT IMPPRESSED! There was hardly any pork on the bun and what was on it, was fat, which we removed. It was not only my BBQ Pork but also, my wifeâs. The side or salad as we were told, was chick peas. Nothing wrong with the chick peas but the quantity looked like it was about 2 table spoons. For $14, one would expect a good quantity. As for my sonâs burger, it was over cooked and dry. Overall, the food appeared to be put together in a hurry with whatever was left over. Visually, it was not impressive nor did it taste like there was some thought put into it. A restaurant should always have consistency in the quality of its food.Hello, we are disappointed to hear about your recent lunch visit with us as it certainly wasnât up to our standards. If youâd please private message us your phone number our general manager would love to reach out!
