Blacksmith's Kitchen is a cosy estate restaurant, secretted away in the historic blacksmith's cottages on Pearl Mountain. Constructed in 1747, these two buildings predate the Manor House by some 70 years, and great effort has been take to preserve their o
Thank you for a perfect Mother's Day, a superb menu; a clever fusion of traditional South African & Italian dishes served in a harvest-table style of sharing around the table. The setting is rustic, charming and the views are idyllic, all this resulting in a 4 hour lunch, eating, relaxing and chatting with other patrons and joined by talented Chef Morne. Our waitress Priscilla was equally charming and worked her magic around the room with her attentive service. The Retief farm, paired with The Blacksmith's Kitchen & Stubborn Man wines is to be shared and we look forward to seeing what Father's Day has to offer.

We spent an awesome afternoon in the company of Joseph, winemaker par excellence and charming host. We booked a private lunch for 10 people which included a walk around the property and wine tasting. Lunch was served al fresco next to a lovely lake (which served as a welcome cool-off, sober-up swimming pool). The food itself was delicious, especially when coupled with a number of the excellent multi-award winning wines. The bill was surprisingly affordable, and the afternoon was well worth the hour's drive from Cape Town !l

Had an enjoyable lunch with the great service of Leticia and owner Olivier. Leticiaâs friendliness coupled with Olivierâs attentiveness to details really made our lunch taste even better. We ordered the Duo of Tuna, Brandy Bisque Soup, Prawn Risotto and Spicy seafood spaghetti. Everything was delicious but my wife and I were exceptionally blown away by the Duo of Tuna! It was so amazing and concluded that no other restaurant will be able to do this. A must try if you ever visit them! Will definitely return to this restaurant if I ever get to visit Capetown again!è¿éçæå¡å¾å¥½ãä¸è¥¿ä¹ççå¾å¥½å! ææºä¼ä¸å®è¦å°è¯!

Large menu with specials on the wall. Heavy concentration on pizzas and steaks. In view of the main course options, I thought the starters needed increasing. Service slow but top class waiter.
