After coming to Weert for 8 years, I thought I knew all of the fine dining spots there. This trip I found two more that I am sorry I have not been able to enjoy all these years. De Liefhebber was recommended by a former employee now working for the hotel where I stayed. Tapas, and wonderfully creative tapas are the specialty. I highly recommend the Mystery Dinner - chef's choice of unlimited tapas for 25 Eu/person. It sounded too good to be true, so we had to try it. You could suggest things that you might not like or even you might want to see. We had been told they had excellent ribs, so we asked to have those included, and did not exclude anything. The dinner started with wine and a platter of bread, olives, cheese in the lounge area. We had a very delightful bottle of fruity red Spanish wine that complimented everything so well. We were moved to the dining area and soon a large platter of dishes were delivered by the chef and owner who explained everything. Ribs, fish, mushrooms, vegetables, chicken. It was all very creatively prepared and presented, but more importantly, it was delicious. We had two rounds of mystery dishes for 3 diners, and I would not have changed a thing. Go here and enjoy a very special and wonderfully mysterious dinner.

The Mediterranean Taberna gastrobar & delicatessen opened this January and we only came across their existence in August. With a nice interior and a good choice for food and drinks, itâs a nice place to go out for a beer, a glass of wine, a pizza, pasta, a burger and snacks or tapas. You can buy ingredients from their delicatessen area to make your own tapas. Excellent!!Thnx for the nice comment!Hope to see you next time!

This couple moved from another place in Weert (Bretelli) to this new location a few months ago. New modern style, but the same excellent cuisine. Friendly staff, great plates. Very good quality for money. Parking next door.Can highly recommend.

Being recommended to go eat in "De Griekse Keuken" out expectations where quiet high.But is all resulted in a disappointing end of an other wise beautifull afternoon.The food was not served but more or less dropped at out table and the staff kept running along our table. The real deal breaker was they even tried to take our plates (without asking) when we hadn't finished our starter.Also the loud groups in the restaurant didn't contribute to staying here any longer than necessary.

Ik heb dit visrestaurant per toeval ontdekt in een buitenwijk van Weert. Het restaurant serveert een beperkte keuze aan visgerechten, gebakken, gefrituurd of gegrild. De inrichting is heel basaal, de prijzen zijn heel schappelijk en de kwaliteit is heel goed. De vis was heel lekker en heel vers. Echt een aanrader, tenzij je een sjiekere entourage zoekt.
