Searched for vegan restaurants in Va Beach and found this little gem. We were greeted very nicely and showed to our seats. G/f ordered the Falafel Encrusted Tofu and I had the Heavenly Vegge Burger. Both were presented very well and extremely delicious. Could not have asked for friendlier service either, great!! I wish Va Beach was closer because I would definitely be a frequent visitor here. Will definitely stop again next time down there.

First the good: delicious food; have been here twice since new owners took over and everything we've tried thus far has been wonderful. Meatball appetizers: absolutely don't miss out...and have bread available to mop up the sauce. Now the bad: service on a Saturday night was not able to keep up with the crowd. I understand that, but 1) after arriving a little earlier than our reservation, to have our reserved table given away by the bartender to another couple; 2) when finally seated, to wait 15 minutes before drink orders were taken; 3) to wait another 15 minutes (and after a trip to the bartender to ask where our drinks were) only to be told the server hadn't placed the drink order; 4) to have to ask for bread twice; 5) to have both appetizer and entrees to arrive within seconds of each other; 6) to have gotten two lukewarm lattes at the end of the meal; and 7) to have never had any effort on the part of management to try to make up for items 1-6. Had it not been after 8 o'clock, we would have left (and let's face it -- dining in Va. Beach tends to occur earlier rather than later -- so our options at this point were very limited)...but I will say that the food...it is just so damn good. So, When In Rome -- my earnest appeal to you (because I do so want to return, despite all of the problems) -- keep the menu and delicious food intact, and improve the service, which really detracts from what could -- and should -- be a wonderful dining experience. We appreciate your comments and suggestions. We strive to create a wonderful fine dining experience. Your comments have been brought up to the staff to correct. We hope you return and give us another chance.
