Open daily for lunch from 12:00 to 14:00, for dinner 19:30- 22:00 Closed on Saturday for lunch and Thuesday evening.
the place is really nice...unique...caracteristic! but thats all i liked in this place. it was a saturday night when we came here for dinner. the place was not full yet when they served us but then we waited at least half hour for our food. the service was slow, we had to ask them twice for things! i think they need at least another waiter for a busy night like this. i found this restaurant a bit pricey. We' re sorry for your wait, but half an hour is the time that's necessary for cooking the dishes , because we prepare our courses with fresh ingredients.

I am so, so happy we stopped here for lunch! The experience was wonderful beginning to end. We were there on a quiet Wednesday afternoon in November, which was nice because the chef came out to talk to us a few times. We started with the mixed crostini, which consisted of one of each: olive oil, bruschetta, pate, white beans, spinach and cheese, and another kind of cheese and sausage. Every flavor was great, but my favorites were the pate (fegato) and the plain olive oil. We then had our primi - a plate of ribollita (excellent!) for me and pasta with meat sauce for my husband (also excellent, and clearly home-made, as are all their pastas). We then shared a secondo - fagioli all'uccelletto (beans cooked with herbs and sausage) and a side of peppers cooked in this incredibly delicious sauce - a dish created by Stefano. Everything is brought from Tuscany, including the oil, the meat, etc. And the quality of the ingredients really shines in the simple but very delicious home cooking we had the privilege to try. For dessert, we shared an order (3) of peach desserts - two halves of cookie-type dough (but softer) with orange or chocolate/vanilla filling. All this plus coffee for both of us, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine, plus coperto came to only EUR 63. A great price-to-quality ratio you don't often find. When we were leaving, the chef gave us a delicious apple digestivo and even packed a bag of their home-made canticcuni for our plane ride. We really enjoyed speaking with him - he loves what he does and he does it so well! We hope to come back to Vigevano, and if we do, this is the first place we will visit! One of the best meals ever. Grazie mille, Stefano.

The Restaurant is located inside the Ticino river park, immersed in a beautiful natural atmosphere - you will have to reach the place preferably by car. Although (during the summer) the place is haunted by helicopter-like-mosquito hordes, do not be afraid, you could enjoy your meal and see the nature through the glass wall surrounding the main room, without being annoyed. They are famous in the neighborhood for pizza or fish: I prefer the 2nd, with great options at the right flavors, with the right portions: so quality and quantity are good enough and come at a right price too: you will spend about 30 EUR for an appetizer+main course+dessert+coffee (wine apart), with quick-n-kind service (according to the number of customers crowding it)... The downside is that the place isn't romantic at all: rooms are too large to offer any kind of privacy. This is not THE place to propose... After that, it is promoted!

I was recommended to go here by the hotel I'm staying at. Still trying to get used to the "siesta" hours and having lost track of time sight seeing, a call was placed here and I was greeted at 2:30pm with arms open. Everyone was so nice. There was a language barrier but that did not keep three of them in helping me select a good plate.I had a salad to start with. I was presently surprised at all that was in it! Even corn. For lunch itself, I had the Ravioli. I'm not much of a pork person- but this dish had enough "ham" for flavor and the sauce itself was extremely flavorful. As you know, Italians have portion control so don't be fooled by the amount on the plate, the taste itself will fill you up. For dessert I was recommend the "Mascarpone e nutella" by Fabio. .............Oh my word!!! This was just the right amount of sweet after the lunch. On a side note, I met the owner, Rosaria, who has a very touching story. Her Bambino works there too and is the sweetest boy you'd meet. As a family operated business, I'm glad I came by here as the atmosphere was like having lunch at a friend's house. I would recommend.

During a business trip we decided to dine in Maco and give it a try. The decor inside is warm and inviting. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to to assist. For our starter we decided to order an assortment of antipasto's. Overall good quality and fresh. For our primo's we ordered the tagliatelle in a white sauces with truffles. Very good. For our second dish we order flank steak with some sides of vegetables. The meat was properly cooked, tender and fresh. I would have to say the only downfall of our meal was the wine list. For a bunch of average middle of row wines the restaurant was charging an extremely high mark-up. Usually a restaurant will charge double the cost. Unfortunately, they were charging triple the value for once again average wine. Overall food experience was good, but be aware of the wine costs.

Great food in a lovely setting. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated with "old things". Owner takes a personal interest in the guests. Very inventive but delicious food. The most beautiful (and delicious) fresh fruit dessert I have ever, ever seen! And, the owner, after listening to our preferences, recommended a wine that was CHEAPER than the one I had chosen. How unusual is THAT????? (and it was divine!)
