Ordered spaghetti. There wasn't much sauce. The sauce wasn't very good anyway.. The waiter told us what he expected for a tip and was very demanding about There's a food court just down the street in the Galleria...basement floor. Eat there instead.

A pleasant restaurant but although the food is quite good, it was expensive, cheapest wine about 130 pesos, tables are far too close together, too noisy. A little pretentious for what you pay. There are much better value restaurants in Villa Urquiza, notably La Luciana in Alvarez Thomas, which I reviewed about a month ago.

This is the best restaurant in our neighborhood. Small an cosy with elegant interior. Food is great but not expensive and the best is the excellent wine recommendations and that you can drinc all by the glass. And you can buy a bottle and bring it home.

This is a traditional place, apparently highly popular among the locals, at around 2 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon it was practically full. Service is excellent, although the waitress speaks only Spanish, but she was nice, attentive and fast. They offered a glass of sparkling wine as courtesy, and in the end the dose of Fernet Branca was also on the house. For starter I had the Langouste Milanese (fried in breadcrumbs), a huge portion but rather uninteresting on a tired looking leaf salad bed. The two sauces were also of the rather boring kind. For the main dish I had the sole with crème of prawn, another warmed up, rather blend dish. It is not cheap in Buenos Aires standards, with a small bier I paid US$ 25.

Although there are other Parolaccias in BA, this one is my favorite. A great ambience, comfortable, cozy, ample, and a great Italian cuisine. From the typical antipasti to the tasty mascarpone tiramisu, going through s typical pasta main course, the food is absolutely outstanding. Been there dozens of times and it's always above standard. And then, the very professional and charming staff, who will make your visit a one to remember. Not that all the staff is not great, but I wanna say that Roque is one of the best waiters I've ever seen, he is very professional and very nice with his guests, always having the exact word, and suggesting good dishes, Bravo Roque! And Bravo Parolaccia of course!

We went two couples, and we had the complete steps menu. Wines offered at very reasonable price are from boutique producers. As starters we had very good fennel soup. For the next step we had a rabbit salad, melon soup and a pate. Then we had a dish with hot brie and, a tasty steak (argentinean meat)and a specially prepared bondiola dish. For the last step we had a pannacota with tomato sauce, peaches in a very tasty sauce and a chocolate mousse. All were very tasty, very well prepared and we had an enjoyable evening, not too expensive.Thans for leaving such a detailed review. We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and weâre happy to hear we hit the mark for you. Alida

La Vicente Lopez, an antique bakery that transitioned to a culinary experience, is a signature place for most of the Locals. The bakery is beside its restaurant, so the resto receives breads and desserts directly from the source, which is an unique Advantage. Location and parking: busy area, there is a free parking in the same block of Zla Vicente Lopez restaurant.Setting, deco and table service: Although the setting does not help (too much stuff, crowded walls), the service and servers are really focused on details and on providing a top level service from start to finish.Menu: way tooo many options. You cannot be good at everything (pasta, fish, meat), so my recommendation would be to stick to the house specials. We tried Goulash & Spaetzle, napolitana milanese and were acceptable but Spaetzle was not made by the origial recipe. House wine is ok and you do not need to go higher to have an acceptable meal. Prices: overpriced.Great: bread basquet was excelent, with different type of breads ans sticks. There are other better options to this menu. Good in general, but needs a chef to give it a profesional flavor and take it to another level.
